Community Spotlight - Corron

Following up last month’s rather popular installment of our Community Spotlight series, now it’s time to divert the floodlights towards the ChromeOS + Cameyo Customer Community, more precisely to our attentive member @corron_mlc.

As tradition, grab your beverage of choice and let’s find out a bit more about Corron together:
 

• How long have you been part of the Chrome OS + Cameyo Community and why did you join?
  
  I’ve been part of the community from the very start. I joined because I was genuinely curious about how other organizations were adapting to Google solutions compared to us. Working in a supportive role, I also wanted a space where I could share my own knowledge, help others troubleshoot, and give back to the community.

• How long have you been working with ChromeOS and/or Cameyo for, why did you first start and what does your day-to-day look like now?
  
  We started working with ChromeOS when our business made a strategic decision to adopt a full, end-to-end Google solution—it just made complete sense for our business model. Today, I manage a team of engineers looking after multiple operating systems, with ChromeOS and ChromeOS Flex serving as our primary environments.
   
• When you are not working, what do you like doing?
  
  Even when I’m off the clock, I’m a tech enthusiast at heart! I love finding new ways to learn, experiment, and keep up with the latest technologies and industry trends.
   
• An interesting fact about yourself (could be your favourite movie, tv show, album or something entirely random!)
  
  I play in a professional Esports team and won a tournament with a large prize pool which funded my first home deposit. My mum never liked me playing too many games but as soon as that happened she was shocked.
   
• What is the one thing you cannot live without?
  
  A continuous drive to learn new things (and maybe a solid internet connection to go with it!).
   
• What's your soft spot when it comes to food?
  
  Nothing beats a classic, homemade Spaghetti Bolognese—it’s my ultimate comfort food.
   

• To wrap it up, do you have a favourite tip on using ChromeOS and/or Cameyo that you would like to share?
  
  Get everyone on your team familiar with chrome://policy and the reload policies button! When you're testing configurations or pushing updates, it is an absolute best friend for quick troubleshooting.
