Good afternoon
i have some questions concerning the oemconfig on motorola edge smartphones (managed through Microsoft Intune as dedicated devices (kiosk)).
we already use the oemconfig (on Zebra) with success... but on the edge 40, if we enroll the devices, (all as kiosk devices) we need to adjust the reboot key ( programmable key). users want to reboot or shutdown the device, they get the Google Assistant that is assigned as default when they long press the power key.
we need to configure (approx. 150 devices in kiosk mode) so we need to configure this behaviour trough oemconfig.we can program the key, but cannot find the option to show the power on/off menu. We can do it manually... but for 150 device i would like to do it trough OEMconfig.
is there any manual with options we can set for each configuration, like there is a fantastic manual for Zebra Android devices... we have the information mentioned in https://en-us.support.motorola.com/ci/fattach/get/85225163/1728405228/redirect/1/session/L2F2LzEvdGl... but we cannot find a manual withe the options we can set.
We reached out to Motorola support, but we got a default answer (go to the settings, blabla.. ) but this was not helpfull.
Anyone here who knows the options to set?
Thanks in advance!

Sorry to say this (...we need to adjust the reboot key...) is not possible yet.
We raidsed that with Motorola as well when we took some thousand devices (G54) into production and ran into similar "issue".
As far as I remember it was told to us to be possible on Android 15 (not the initial release one but a later one and atleast for the G54) to configure this setting. I'm pretty sure a new oem config of moto oem will be released then as well. And there was now real release date communicated but a guess was summer 2025.
But i don't know if they provide this functionality to other devices then as well.
But in general they can turn the device off using the sidekey + volume key.
