Hey everyone,

Last Thursday, Jun 4, 2026, we hosted an in-person gathering for our CAFE members and friends at Google's London office. It was a pleasure to welcome IT admins and owners from both the Android and ChromeOS CAFE communities. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made the journey to be there; seeing so many familiar and new faces together in one room was truly a highlight.

The CAFE (Customer Advisory for Enterprise) is a dedicated private group, for product development and discussion, housed here in the Customer Community. Whilst a lot of the discussions often happen online, several times a year we host an in-person event.

The heart of the event was our Product Roundtable Discussions. These sessions provided a unique opportunity for customers to speak directly with our Product Managers and Google team members across an array of enterprise topics, ensuring that your real-world requirements/use cases are heard and help to shape current and potential future product decisions. Some of the topics are upcoming features in our Insiders projects (so if you would like to get closer by testing up-coming features please let us know you’d like to join Insiders).

One of my personal favorite things about this event was that so many people mentioned how nice it was to speak to peers using Android (and ChromeOS) for work, and hear relevant experiences and tips on finding certain solutions or new things to explore. It showed you don’t need the same industry, EMM, or OEM partner to have meaningful, valuable conversations.

During the "Lunch and Laugh" segment, attendees enjoyed their lunch while participating in a creative challenge. We invited everyone to use Nano Banana to design images inspired by the morning's highlights or their personal experiences at the event. The results were highly entertaining, ranging from humorous takes on London tube strikes to various Android-themed creations and some quite dramatic entries! Here are some of our favourites; and thank you to everyone who took part.

We are currently consolidating all the notes and feedback captured on the day. These insights will be shared with the relevant product team members to help drive the future of Google's enterprise mobility solutions. For those of you who are CAFE members (whether you attended in person or not), we will be sharing a full recap in our CAFE area over the next couple of weeks, so keep an eye out for that.

We really hope everyone who attended enjoyed the event and thank you again for joining us.

Any plans to host a CAFE in Germany in 2026?

Hey @DominicW,

I hope you are having a good week. We don’t have a CAFE event planned for Germany yet this year. We had a very enjoyable CAFE event in Munich previously, so we’d love to bring people together again.

It would be great to hear from folks where ideally you’d love to a CAFE event to be hosted in the future?

Thanks,

Lizzie

The last one in Germany took place in Munich I believe? That’s by far the nicest office, but Berlin and Frankfurt might both be interesting because we got offices there and Berlin hosts all the public customers while Frankfurt is packed with financial institutions and a mix of other large enterprises.

This was the first event which I have attended and hopefully will not be the last!  It was great to chat to people from a number of organisations who were able to share their experiences on issues regarding Mobile Device Management which was very relevant to what I am currently working on.  Lizzie was fantastic and made us feel very welcome.
