Aluminium OS - bringing Android to PC's

If people have not heard. Google is working on bringing AndroidOS to PC's.

 

Google's new 'Aluminium OS' project brings Android to PC

 

Just hope the AE management stays the same or even will expand on its capabilities. ChromeOS needs Google Workspace for management and not everybody is familiar with this. 

 

but I look forward testing it when its ready for public or maybe private testing 🤐.

    I noticed the article as wel, curious to see where they will go with this idea/plan. I agree with you that management for ChromeOS shouldn't be limited to Google workspace, lets hope thats not the case with this new OS.

    I consider this very interesting. Actually I'm looking for BYOD option for laptops. This would change the game for corporates, specially if bigger HW manufacturers like Lenovo etc.. will support it. Hopefully AluminumOS will be out for testing in 2026. Need to check our Google TAM if they can share more info 🙂
