Control Wi-Fi Calling settings

Hi there, hope you're well. Just wondering is it possible to control the Wi-Fi Calling settings within Android via MDM? The closest thing I've seen is to use Knox Asset Intelligence to check Wi-Fi Calling setting status on Samsung devices: https://docs.samsungknox.com/admin/knox-asset-intelligence/dashboard/network-insights/wifi-calling-setting-status/

Hi David,

 

I'm not aware of any API that provides tools to manage wifi calling. What do you want to achieve?

    What I wanted: 1) check Wi-Fi Calling status, 2) enforce Wi-Fi Calling (ON)

    The first one could be done with Knox Asset Intelligence (need a license and Samsung only), I believe Intune is working on adding extra information in their tooling. 

     

    Second I believe isn't possible. If I remember correctly it has to do with something providers since they allow or not allow the use of wifi calling. But there is no API that lets you configure the preffered calling method (wifi or mobile data). I couldn't find an API at least. There might be oemConfigs that offer this, Samsung's version does not.
