Error message: Can't set up device

Several users are reporting that they are unable to register devices with Intune via ZTE.  They get the not-very-helpful "Can't set up device" message.  Is ZTE broken now?  Any others seeing this issue?  Our ZTE config for Intune has not been modified.

Hi Bill,

at least on our end nothing reported yet about that and at least yesterday (10.02.2025) there have been devices enrolled.

Check if you haven't changed anything on Intune side also check if maybe the firmware of the relevant devices has changed (or maybe even check if they haven't been updated).

I guess it must have been an intermittent issue.  Was troubling when it was three devices reporting the same symptoms.  If ZTE was broken, would the status be shown here?  https://www.google.com/appsstatus/dashboard/  Perhaps under Endpoint Management?
