G Suite not supported

"I am trying to set up Android Management API (AMAPI) for enterprise device management. My organization uses Google Workspace (G Suite). The managed Google Play signup flow at enterprise.google.com/signup rejects G Suite accounts. How can I create an AMAPI enterprise using my Google Workspace domain without a personal Gmail account?

    Hey @walmart-spark-mdm

    Welcome to the community!

As far as I understand it, the signup flow at enterprise.google.com/signup is built for creating a managed Google Play Accounts enterprise, which expects a Google account that isn't tied to a Workspace domain. That's likely why your G Suite login is getting bounced, it's not that Workspace itself isn't supported, it's that this particular signup path wants a different account type.

What you're after sounds like the managed Google domain enrolment route instead, which lets you bind your actual Workspace domain rather than a standalone Google account. Heads up that how you get there can depend on whether you're calling the Android Management API directly yourself, or going through a UEM/EMM provider (Intune, Workspace ONE, etc.) who handles the binding on your behalf, so it'd help to know which boat you're in.

I’m sure we have members here who can share their direect experience of setting this up too.

    Cheers,
    Kirk
