Question

How to correctly (re)apply as a commercial EMM after an application denial?

Hello,

we are currently adding EMM functionality to our system, and I wanted to test it first with our own devices. So I requested the initial quota (<500 devices) via the form, but I omitted the fact that we do plan to offer this feature as a paid service in the future.

So the current situation is that our application has been denied, and I wanted to ask what the correct way to reapply would be - since the reply said "this decision is final".

We already have most of the code ready for testing, but of course I can’t :(

Does anybody know how to proceed further the right way?

kind regards

Stefan

Hey!

Your best change is to reach out to the team doing those checks via ae-community@google.com, make sure that the first mail you send contains enough details for them to act on it. Not just ask for a second change, but elaborate on why they should have a second look.

Good luck!

Hi Michel,

thanks for your response. i did this already, with a full explanation why the first attempt was “wrong” and i asked to:

Reconsider our EMM provider eligibility based on this corrected, accurate commercial case, and

advise on the right path forward - resolving the D-U-N-S/onboarding block, whether to continue on ... or register a new project, and the steps to (re)apply for the EMM Provider community.

We are happy to provide customer references, contracts, invoices, or any other commercial evidence you need. Thank you for reconsidering.

unfotunately the response was just

Thank you for your interest. Unfortunately, we don't provide specific feedback or details regarding application decisions.

so my impression is, that this might not be the correct way?

I believe its the only way, did you try to give some pushback?

@Kirk , do you have some suggestions here?
