Hi All, I am facing a problem accessing the vendor account of the Zero Touch portal. Previously in the partner portal, I selected the account and created the customers under them. But now that the specific vendor account is not available it is creating a problem for us to manage the previous customers and create new customers to support via ZT API. Please help us on this to resolve asap.
We have had a random number of devices performing a factory reset after GZT enrollment has completed and places devices into MDM solution. The devices we have experienced this on are mostly Rhino but some Samsung tablets. The OS we are mostly dealing with is OS12. Once devices enroll, they drop into staging folders. When they are deployed, we move them to production folders. How we have been catching this is by devices showing enrollment for a second time, by MDM logs, sometime after the device was fully configured. For the devices we deployed that reset, end up back in Staging folders. For the last few weeks, we have been trying to capture what is triggering the resets. We captured logs on device side but cannot see what is triggering it. There a no logs of this command being sent from MDM solution. We suspect that it is GZT but unable to capture any logs for this action or know how to stop it. We are also having other but same issues that were listed in this discussion. Som

We are working with fully managed dedicated devices under Android Manage API and would like to be able have multiple browser app installed but set a default browser using policy. The persistentPreferredActivities seems like the best fit for this and we have successfully used it to set preferred activities for other actions. But so far, attempts to setup a preferred activity for an http/https URL have been unsuccessful. My setup looks something like this: "persistentPreferredActivities": [ { "actions": [ "android.intent.action.VIEW" ], "categories": [ "android.intent.category.BROWSABLE", "android.intent.category.DEFAULT" ], "receiverActivity": "com.mybrowser/.BrowserActivity" } ]My "BrowserActivity" is configured to support android.intent.action.VIEW intents. <activity android:name=".BrowserActivity" androi

Hi ya'll, Just beginning to manage Android devices with Microsoft Intune and Google Zero Touch. Everything works great but I am looking for a way to automate switching a device between different zte enrollment profiles (configurations) e.g. fully managed, dedicated, azure ad shared mode etc. I've done this successfully on the Windows side. The basic flow is that when a device asset record gets updated in our asset management database, a middleware I created calls Intune APIs to name the device and move it into the proper security groups so it gets the right policies and apps.I wanted to replicate this flow on the Android side, but things work a little different with Intune for Android than it does for Windows. If I choose to use the Google ZTE iframe that's built-in to Intune, it makes everything a corporate-owned, fully managed device with no option to switch between different enrollment profiles (configurations). The other option is just to switch them in the Google Zero Touch p
Hello everyone, Have you ever explored the Android Enterprise Help Center or maybe the Solutions Directory? (I would also add Customer Community to this, but if you are reading this I will take that as a yes!) If you have, I imagine many of you were on the search for an answer or looking to gather information on possible management solutions. Finding the information you need in a timely manner, with the correct level of detail is really important, and your community contributions already play a huge part in this - so a massive thank you. We are on a mission to make our customer resources as useful as possible for you, and we’d love your help going forward. We have our thoughts on some key areas that could be improved, but we’d love to hear directly from you on this, through some online research sessions. Starting out with focusing on the early stages of managing Android devices and exploring how you navigate resources and find in
Hello Android Enterprise Community,We are experiencing an issue with our COPE (Corporate-Owned, Personally Enabled) enrollment where the battery information always displays as 0%. This issue occurs consistently across multiple devices and affects our ability to monitor device health accurately.Details:Issue: Battery information always shows as 0% in the COPE enrollment profile.Frequency: Every time a device is enrolled using COPE.Devices Affected: Multiple devices from different manufacturers.Android Version: Various, but the issue is consistent regardless of the Android version.Steps to Reproduce:Enroll a device using COPE.Check the battery information in the management console.Battery info displays as 0%.Impact:This issue impacts our ability to monitor and manage device health, leading to potential downtime and inefficiencies in our operations.Troubleshooting Steps Taken:Verified battery status on the device itself (shows correct battery percentage).Re-enrolled devices using COPE.Tes
Dear Community, we wanted to use Google Calendar in Combination with Outlook Mobile (Sync Calendar) with Intune. Unfortunately, we are facing the issue, that Google Calendar does not start on our COPE enrollments. After setting permissions to Contacts, Calendar and Notifications we see just for a second the calendar, but then the message pops up "Action not allowed". On our BYOD enrollments there are no problems. I guess, this has something to do with Intune (App), but i cannot nail it down what the issue could be.It seems Company Portal App is doing something different, because why it's working for BYOD Devices? I was hoping that someone else here had the same issue with a possible fix. Maybe Google calendar wants to add a Google Account, which is of course blocked at work profile level... Thanks!
Hi support team,is there a limit to the maximum number of users (admins or owners) that can be on the same Zero Touch portal?
Hello, We're using Android Enterprise together with Microsoft Intune as a device management system. Some devices are configured in Dedicated Device Mode, i.e. Kiosk Mode, more precisely in SingleApp Kiosk Mode, so an app runs in full screen and cannot be closed by the end user. The NFC reader has stopped responding about a week ago. If a tag is placed near the NFC reader, the device does not respond. If the device is taken out of kiosk mode again, NFC tags can be read again. As I said, NFC tags could also be read in kiosk mode until recently, but unfortunately this is no longer the case. This affects all devices that are in SingleApp Kiosk mode.I would be very grateful for any useful ideas.
During the development of Android Enterprise functionality, we found that COPE (Corporate-Owned, Personally Enabled) devices operate differently compared to other devices (fully-managed corporate-owned). Is there any documentation available that details the specifics of COPE device operations?
We use managed accounts (12345678901234567890@android-for-work.gserviceaccount.com) to provide access to the Managed Playstore, this accounts are assigned to the users or devices, I would like to disable the payment method options for these accounts. The users have no control over that account, most of the time they don't even know the name of the account. there is no password, no way to restore purchases made. When the employee's account is terminated or the device replaced, it creates a problem for purchases made.
I am deploying fully managed work profile through Knox+Intune, after the end user sets Wi-Fi (or uses Mobile Date) and downloads the Knox settings to point to the chosen EMM Provider the prompt below is encountered Normally there used to be "Accept and continue", which led to credentials to 365 and Intune. Now there is "Add account to device", where I can set profile to Work and Personal profiles. And "Use without an account", which leads to 365 and Intune like before. Its very confusing, especially for end users and they also have the ability to exit out of the enrolment process altogether which bypasses the process and reverts to the device home screen Does anyone know, how this can either revert get back to old "Accept and continue" in Welcome to chrome or if not ensure the screen is locked down and can't be exited?
Hi all, With have a Microsoft Intune managed Android Enterprise set up phone where the user is leaving the company and it has been agreed that they can keep the phone as a personal one. It is already been used as such as they are a senior staff member. Obviously we need to remove the device as a company managed device but is it possible to move the account history from the company Gmail account to a personal one so that they can keep their contacts, apps settings etc? I'm doubtful that this is possible but wanted to seek further advice first. Many thanks, David
Hi, I am trying to get AMAPI access, so I can register more than 500 devices. When I applied for an EMM partnership, it got denied, stating, "We would like to let you know that your application to join the Android Partner Portal has been declined.". In the application, I had provided my fresh Google Cloud console project ID. Can someone tell me how to get it approved? My use case is to provide EMM solutions to businesses to manage the devices. @jasonbayton
Hi everyone, I've been facing an issue with the video quality on our enterprise Android devices. Many of our team members need to create high-quality video content for presentations and marketing purposes. However, the built-in video recording and editing apps on these devices are not meeting our standards. The videos often appear grainy and lack the professional touch we need. ****[Text hidden] Has anyone else faced similar issues with video quality on enterprise devices? If so, what solutions have you tried, and how effective were they? Looking forward to your suggestions and experiences. Best regards, Matt Short *Text hidden due to advertising purposes, in line with the Community Guidelines
Hi, we are working with multiple resellers across the globe. These days, we had an issue, where some of the Zebra devices were registered to Zero touch, which ended in restart-loop, because they are in SOTI and cannot be in ZT together. So I removed them from ZT, but I want to prevent this situation happening again, so I need to know which reseller registered them and give hime a little "training" what he can and cannot do. I didnt found any way how to see the history in ZT portal. Thank you.
Hello, we have multiple google Accounts. Our Main-Account for Zero Touch churned to Alternative Account after renewing the Zero Touch Portal. When we now login to the Zero-Touch Portal we can't see andy devices. How can we fix the alternativ Account to a Main Account again! ThxYusuf
Our Managed Google Play store account was accidently deleted and restored a few days later. Since then we have been unable to enrol any Android phones int Intune. They get stuck at Enroll Work Apps with red exclamation marks. We have contacted Microsoft and they have checked everything their end. They suggest we contact Google to get them to rebind the account. Can you help please.
In the new Zero Touche portal, I'd like to add a new account. I can enter the email address and the role, but then I get the following error:An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again laterHave other people experienced this problem? What can I do?
We have previously done more MAM and are moving to allow users on Android to setup the work profile. In testing on Pixel 8 running Android 14 QPR we are seeing significant battery drain from the company portal app. Like so bad that it’s making the devices lag and hot and killing the battery. did we miss something in the config @jasonbayton maybe you have some insights?
Hi all, after registering company for Android Enterprise, to use with our EEM Solution from Sophos we added 10 users (send invitation and confirm/register process). Trying to add the 11th user we get the error: The organization that invited you has no other licenses to add users. Contact your administrator.(translated from german)How/where can we get additional licenses? Thought for Android Enterprise we don't need to buy licenses...of course we have the licenses for the EMM solution from Sophos (Sophos Mobile).Any help appreciated. Thanks, Lutz
