As far as I know, Android TV does not yet support Enrollment. If this were possible, connected Chromecasts (with Android TV) and tons of Smart TVs would become awesome Digital Signage solutions over night.

Can we get an update on this issue?

PS. Would have liked to add "Android TV" and "Digital Signage" as labels to this post. But that is not possible...

Hi @MaxHille (and @Frank1 and @jasonbayton),

I’ve checked with the team on this and they’ve confirmed that Android TV is not yet supported to be enrolled in the EMM unless there is a built in DPC that can help fetch the EMM policies.

Thanks for the messages here on Android TV. I get your eagerness to have this more supported through Android Enterprise, I personally would love this too and if any updates in this area happen we will be sure to keep you posted here in the community.

As a side note, I'd be interested to hear more about your use cases, if you are happy to share? I think this is a good community conversation to see if more members here are interested in this. So please do share if you can.
