Oneplus 13 and 15R support

I want to know status for oneplus 13 and 15R for Android enterprise recommended list.

Oneplus 13 is mentioned in the list however the device available to region APAC. is not included. Even though device can be purchased in India does this mean it will not work for enterprise application in India. Example intune.

Secondly want to know when the oneplus 15R model will be added to the Android enterprise recommended list.

Lastly I want to know if work profile and in tune can still work on latest oneplus model even though not in device list for Android enterprise.

Hey @Ajoshi,

in general latest Android devices should cover the possibility of being used with an EMM even if they are not listed. But the big difference is that listed devices got approved to work and making support from the manufacturer and Google more likely possible and easier than on unlisted devices.

You can read more about it here: https://androidenterprisepartners.withgoogle.com/glossary/device/

So, in general i would recommend to look for AER certified devices only or let the manufacturer certify them (otherwise skip those models). So, additionally reaching out here, i recommend to ask the manufacturer (OnePlus in your case) if they are in process of AER certification for your models of interest or if even considered.

Thank you @Moombas  - This clearly answers my question about 15R.
However Oneplus 13 is still unclear. Even though its mentioned in the list however the device availability to region APAC . is not included. Even though device can be purchased in India does this mean it will not work for enterprise application in India but can only support in other regions like

  • Europe
  • MEA
  • North America

Ideally clarify with the manufacturer but my personally best guess would be that this is just information by manufacturer where device can be bought (“regional availability”).

So, in my opinion it should work, no matter where you are but you might not able to buy it in other regions than the mentioned ones. But this information also can be outdated if they extended the official selling. But also keep in mind if a product is not supposed to be used in a specific area, it might not supported needed bands (for mobile data,...) or language or so. So, no guarantee from my side, so ask the manufacturer they should be able to tell you.

Or ask reseller if you can lend one device for PoC.
