Organisation of Mobile Devices für Testing

Hello,

I work in the QA team of a large company. We have recently purchased 10 different devices. We would now like to create a separate Google account for each device so that we can apply different settings and test our mobile apps under various conditions.

Is there a special type of Google account or solution available for professional testing that...

  • can be centrally managed by multiple people,
  • allows users to be added and removed easily,
  • can be used to manage multiple devices with different configurations in order to replicate various test scenarios

Is Andorid Recommanded a solution for my issue?

I would appreciate any tips or recommendations. Thank you!

    Hi,

Not sure what the goal is here, but whats holding you back from creating 10 gmail addresses/accounts?

If you want to manage trough MDM, you have to configure 10 different profiles each with the settings you want, or assign apps per device. You can use any MDM that supports this featueres for that. By connecting Android Enterprise to that MDM solution, you can enroll as many devices as you want.

Android Recommended is a progam in which OEMS can qualify there devices. When they meet certain criteria, it gets the label Android Enterprise recommended. When buying a device with this label, you know they meet specific security and update rules.

The program also lists all trusted partners for MDM and device resellers. Its not a solution for app installs or management. You might be able to use Android essentials, but its not available where I live so can't share any experiences with that.
