this isn't possible. Please reach out to your reseller that you have to get a correct (non demo) device.

Demo devices are not allowed to be sold.

I've got the same issue and the seller has stalled repeatedly and now my financial institution will not consider a charge back. My only two options are to trade it in and take an acceptable loss of less than $50 or Litigation against an entity located in another state (possibly a front for foreign ownership) to which my ability and chances of winning a judgement are substantially high. Collecting on that court awarded judgement is less than 10%.
