Seeing spike in HARDWARE_BACKED_EVALUATION_FAILED for Android 16 devices.

We are seeing a spike in HARDWARE_BACKED_EVALUATION_FAILED in 

https://developers.google.com/android/management/reference/rest/v1/enterprises.devices#securityrisk field in AMA Device response. We are seeing this mostly in the Android 16 customers and for some users it went away without any change on their side. So it does not seem anything wrong with the devices and seems random. Anyone else facing this with AMA or play integrity?

Hey @Prathik,

 

Nice to speak with you again - I hope all is going well (outside of this). 

 

I had a quick look to see if we had an internal tickets on this and couldn't see anything. I wonder did you see this spike happening on a particular device or is it across multiple different types? 

 

If anyone else has seen this with your fleet please do share.

Hi @Lizzie , ​the spike we have seen is mostly pixel devices with Android 16. The highest number is from Pixel 6 Pro about 500 devices. There is a sharp increase in occurrence from  8/4

    Sorry I'm just getting back on this. There was a ticket open for this and it has been resolved - so hopefully this was the last time you've seen this with your devices. Please do let me know if you are still seeing this or experience it again.

    Thank you Lizzie. Can you give some details about the ticket that was open? What was the resolution? Is it a public ticket I can look at?
