Question

Zero touch portal onboarding

Yes, I am operating as a registered business. I have a valid Udyam registration.

Currently, I am managing around 10 Android devices for business operations, and I am planning to scale this further.

I am looking for a proper enterprise setup with centralized device management and Zero-Touch enrollment for future devices.

Please let me know what details are required from my side for onboarding.

Hi @anujprasad586 Thanks for your post - can you confirm whether you are looking at support for enterprise enrolling your Android devices? Or are you also managing ChromeOS devices?

We can support you in either scenario - but just want to determine first which product area you are interested in for now.

Thanks!

Thanks for your response.

I am looking for support with Android Enterprise for enrolling and managing Android devices only. I am not managing ChromeOS devices at the moment.

I currently have around 10 Android devices used for business purposes, and I am planning to scale this in the future.

I would like guidance on setting up Android Enterprise, including Zero-Touch enrollment for future devices.

Thank you.

Hey @anujprasad586

I’ve moved this post into the Android Enterprise Customer Community as it’s specific to this product.

Thanks for your questions, hopefully I can add some clarity and provide next steps for you.

Firstly, a big thank you to @Moombas  for jumping in on your other thread with some helpful context there. He's absolutely right that Zero-Touch enrollment works through resellers, so your devices would need to be purchased through a reseller who can register them on the Zero-Touch portal on your behalf.

That said, one really important thing to know is that you don't need Zero-Touch to get started with Android Enterprise! With around 10 devices, there are other enrollment methods that will work just as well for you right now, and it sounds like you're in a great position to get things set up. Keeping an eye on Zero-Touch as you scale is definitely a smart move though.

If you're just getting started, I'd recommend having a read through these first:

For your next step, the main thing you'll want to think first is:

  • Choosing an EMM (Enterprise Mobility Management) solution - this is what you'll use to manage your devices and apps.

The best place to start exploring EMM providers is the Android Enterprise Solutions Directory, where you can browse and compare partners and providers.

Hope that helps point you in the right direction! Feel free to ask if anything isn't clear.

Could you provide me with the name of the AER (Android Enterprise Recommended) reseller please?

Did you purchase the 10 devices you mentioned from them too?

No guarantees we’ll get a response either but we can try reaching out too. Otherwise you may want to migrate to another supplier.
