Google Play Protect's new policy for custom DPC
Apparently, Google has a new policy that only approved DPCs can be installed through QR Provisioning; otherwise, their installation will be blocked.

The problem is that I am not able to understand how to apply for DPC approval. I found this page, but still not able to find out where to apply. Your help is appreciated.
Thanks

Google now requires DPCs to be officially approved for QR provisioning, but they haven’t provided a simple “application form” for developers. Instead, approval is tied to the Android Enterprise Recommended program and direct communication with Google’s enterprise team. The best approach is to review the requirements on the guidance page, ensure your DPC meets all security and policy standards, and then contact Google through the Android Enterprise Partner portal or your existing Google enterprise representative. If you don’t have one, submitting a request through the Android Enterprise contact form is usually the starting point

Hello gareth jasonbayton,
We and many like me already submitted DPC for allow listed but we didn't get any reply
How can we ensure that our application get allow
Is there Contact Point to connect because in bottom of the page their is a condition
"All appeal decisions are final and you will not receive a response."

In other words, from an anti-malware tool, Play Protect evoluted to a censorship firmware allowing a WHITELIST of allowed DPCs without any clear approvement workflows and policies. Sad to hear that. We're also looking for a solution to that.

Hello Bharat
Thank you for your post.
I have checked internally and it has been confirmed that it is critical for any custom DPC or EMM solution to be verified and approved by Android Enterprise before deployment.
You can review the full Developer and EMM guide for DPC approval here: https://support.google.com/work/android/answer/16694822#zippy=%2Cdeveloper-and-emm-guide-for-dpc-approval-process
How to Apply: Once you have reviewed the requirements, scroll to the bottom of the support page and click the button labeled 'Request an appeal'. This feature is the designated entry point for submitting your DPC for review.I hope this is useful - please don't hesitate to let me know if you need anything else!

Emilie_B Hello,I submitted the appeal form and received the following confirmation message:
"Your e-mail has been sent. All appeal decisions are final and you will not receive a response. Note that we will not provide guidance on the potential compliance of your future implementation, so submissions requesting advice will not receive an answer."
Could you please clarify how I will be informed of the decision? Will I receive any notification?- Emilie_BGoogle Community Manager5 days ago
Hi gekatz-mce
Unfortunately, this is not something I can help with as I am not in contact with that specific team.
However, I did find this additional info on the appeal process.
I hope this is helpful!
