[Informational] Canadian Time zone Changes

Hello everyone,

A couple of you have asked about the upcoming Canadian time zone changes happening November 1, 2026.

What you and your users need to know

A timezone update was delivered via Google Play Systems Updates (Mainline) by October 28th, 2026.

If you manage devices in Canada and a device displays an incorrect local time on or after November 1, 2026, please advise users to apply any pending updates from their device manufacturer and Google, and then restart their device.
