[Feature Focus] Managed Google Domains & Insider Opportunity

Hi everyone,

 

Welcome to our new video series, Feature Focus! This is our new series where we will focus on a specific feature from Android with an enterprise lens. Our aim is to provide you with all the information you need to understand a feature and equip you with the tools you need to implement it.

    This was a great intro on the topic, and has given me a kick up the butt to look further into the EMM-driven account replacements on-device as that comes up pretty often. One thing I'd have liked to see covered here is the BYOD side also, and the automatic WP provisioning on using a managed Google domain account; that'd be a nice followup.

     

    Another would be developer-led equivalents of this series which sees an advocate run through the development side of setting up the functionality an EMM would be implementing in a lab.. though appreciate that may be more partner portal content :)

        Looks like its already available in our iframe. But before we do anything, can you change the emailadress in the future?
        We are going to change our domain beginning of next year, so we need to see if this is something we initiate now or wait to next year.

          Hi @Rakib,

           

          Sorry I missed the notification on this message. As long as your organisation follows the steps in the "change your primary domain for Google Workspace" guide you should hit no issues. Just to note as well, the binding is "owned" by the domain not a specific email address/user.
