Android EMM Device Quota Exceeded – Looking for Guidance

Hello,

We implemented an EMM solution using the Android Management API prior to 2024 and were able to successfully test it in our staging environment.

As we are now preparing for a production deployment in 2026, we attempted to create a new EMM enrollment token/EMM instance but encountered a "device quota exceeded" message.

We are unsure about the current quota policies, and the process for obtaining additional quota or creating a new EMM instance for production use.

Could anyone please advise on the next steps or point us to the appropriate documentation or support channel?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hi @venkatv

Welcome to the community!

As a first port of call please see this post for quota guidance and requests.

Do let us know if that answers your questions.

Cheers,
Kirk

@Kirk and @Lizzie as you see we get these requests again and again even with the latest guide, i still see a need that this might be needed to being highlighted in relevant documentation more clearly as it always look like, people start doing something and then wonder about that quota thing.
Ever thought about an “Qutoa information” screen put in front of the documentation which needs to be accepted before getting a look into it (maybe it can be stored in account info or cookies if it was already accepted)?

Hi @Kirk ,

Hope you're doing well.

Just following up to see if you had a chance to review my previous post. If you have any recommendations or suggestions,

I'd really appreciate your feedback whenever you have a moment.

Thank you!

Hi Venkat,

Thanks for following up, and sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

I've had a look into this, and I'm afraid this isn't something we're able to help with further from the Customer Community side. The Partner Portal application review sits entirely outside of our visibility here, so I'm not able to share any detail on specific requirements, eligibility criteria, or documentation beyond what's already been communicated to you directly by the team.

I know that's a frustrating position to be in, especially when you're trying to understand how to improve things, but it's not something I'm able to advise on or clarify further.

Sorry I can't be more help on this one.

Regards,
Kirk
