The project I am working on is a Profile Owner Application. I want to get the Network logs. I have successfully enabled the NetworkLogging and checked the Network logging enable status by isNetworkLoggingEnabled() and setNetworkLoggingEnabled() methods. Now I want to get the network logs using the retrieveNetworkLogs() method. which requires the parameter "batchToken : Long."I have tried several ways to get the batchToken but have failed to get it. Now, I want your kind opinion on how to get the batchToken value and solve this problem by calling the retrieveNetworkLogs() method.Thank you for your time.
Hello, We were informed by our MDM vendor that there is an on-going issue on Android 14 that is preventing some restrictions settings to be updated : https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/95776 Is there any official communication and plans to solve this major issue ?
Hi,I'm implementing the START_LOST_MODE for my organization. The command works and I see the notification on the device saying that its a lost device. If the user doesn't do anything on the device, we can send the STOP_LOST_MODE and START_LOST_MODE again and it works as expected. But if the user takes some action on the device to unlock or select not my device. Then none of the `START_LOST_MODE` commands work again. Is there a limit to how many times this command can be used? Below is the response I get for GET /operation for the issue command. { "name": "enterprises/LC02ot****/devices/3e4aa95e427****/operations/1701195873812", "metadata": { "@type": "type.googleapis.com/google.android.devicemanagement.v1.Command", "type": "START_LOST_MODE", "createTime": "2023-11-28T18:24:33.812Z", "duration": "3600s", "userName": "enterprises/LC02ot****/users/10750409941529692****", "startLostModeParams": { "lostStreetAddress"

Hi,We have a requirement to force few users to reset passcode. I have tried with https://developers.google.com/android/management/reference/rest/v1/enterprises.devices/issueCommand#CommandType and it works fine when we mention the new passcode. I am wondering if there is a way to force users to change passcode without us having to give and store temp passcodes for each user.I am aware that we can do this with password restrictions as part of policy https://developers.google.com/android/management/reference/rest/v1/PasswordRequirements, but is it possible with a one time issue command. Thank you

Hi! We have received emails on this topic for two different Google accounts:https://android-developers.googleblog.com/2023/07/boosting-trust-and-transparency-in-google-play.html The emails ask for an appointment so that a D-U-N-S number, for example, can be entered for the developer account for Google Play. One of the accounts is a normal developer account. There we see an account confirmation dialogue in the Google Play Console. However, we have also received this information for the account that is used in EMM for Android EMM registration. This account only has limited rights to the Play Console to upload internal apps. The account owner is Google itself. (@pfw-dev-acts-prod.google.com.iam.gserviceaccount.com)We are not shown any account confirmation information with this account. Does anyone know whether there is a need for action for accounts that are registered for Android Enterprise in the EMM? RegardsAlex
Hello, does anyone knows when the fold 5 will receive the Android Enterprise Certification? Thanks,
How can I get a new passcode for IT admin?
Our team previously encountered this exact issue with Android 12: https://support.google.com/work/android/thread/119702868/app-in-emm-work-profile-failing-with-android-security-keystoreexception-keystore-not-initialized?hl=en The issue was mitigated on Google's side since Android 12.1, with no further customer reports. However, we are seeing it again on a customer device running Android 14. This is necessary for our app to use the work profile's biometric to authenticate into our app. No other customers (thousands) reported the issue, and we could not reproduce. We confirmed not just our app being affected by this, by checking other apps in the work profile that rely on biometrics, and they also failed to do so. Eventually the customer was able to mitigate by reprovisioning their work profile. May be some bug/edge case during work profile provisioning and keystore availability. Any way we can workaround this programmatically/avoid this high customer friction of re-provis

So we have some Android devices that are imported to ZTE and then sent to the customers but the customers didn't enroll the devices immediately. They have inactive and turned off for 5 months. After 5 month when they start the device and connect to the internet (Wi-Fi) the enrollment is NOT happening. It just starts without any company profil. You can set it up as a normal private device without access to company apps etc.so my question is, is there a policy in ZTE for this? If the device doesn't report back after x number of days just kick it out / don't talk to that device anymore even if it is still in ZTE portal with a profil.

Hello Everyone, How do I sign up my company to allow managing Android devices similar to how we currently use Apple DEP? We have an MDM in place but I'm just looking to get us the back end setup so we can purchase Android devices like we do iOS devices right now and have them registered properly under our Org. Thanks.
I have a healthcare client that is trying to re-configure devices after a factory resest. They have questions around Google's Android Enterprise Network Requirements". They are requesting a call with someone at Google to talk through their concerns/questions. Is there a phone or email contact that I can reach out to for assistance?
I am looking for a bit of advice.. Currently use MobileIron as our MDM (all assigned via AZT) and we want to migrate to Intune, but at the moment all Android phones in AZT are pointed to MobileIron using the configuration. Looking to deploy 300 Android tablets (all corporate owned) which needs to be done in Intune, but I cannot see a way of creating a config for AZT for Intune as well as MobileIron. The current phones setup in MI will eventually either be retired or replaced so need to stay live for the time being until tablets are setup. Any help / advise appreciated, as I'm at a bit of a loss at the moment on how I can do this
Is there any information as to when the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will be added to the list of Android Enterprise Recommended knowledge worker and dedicated devices? We're having trouble registering one of our colleagues with their device (pixel 8 pro) as apparently it's not on the list...
Is there a way to upgrade OS on Android in OOBE state via app on laptop (similar to upgrading/updating iOS via iTunes)?
We are enrolling devices as corporate-owned with work profile, as well as fully managed devices without work profile. All devices receive a device-based Google-Account via EMM registration on enrollment. Our EMM is Workspace One. The issue started around the end of July. On a few devices many approved apps didn't show up at the frontage catalog in the managed Play Store. The missing apps could still be found via search. After delete app-data for the Play Store the missing apps reappeared. Now a month later the issues seems to be getting worse. The issue is happening on nearly every device. Some devices are even unable to find the missing apps via search, even though they are assigned for that app. Deleting app-data for the Play Store does no longer bring back the missing apps. Even waiting for 24h or longer changes nothing.Sending an install command for a missing app from the EMM console to the devices installs the app without issues but still does not add it to the managed Play St
