Hey everyone,

The wait is over! A warm welcome to our new community home! 🚀

We are pleased to open the doors, and we hope this will make your community experience smoother, clearer, and more connected.

A shared space for greater collaboration. One of the most exciting changes is that you are now part of a unified space with the Android Enterprise, ChromeOS, Cameyo and Chrome Enterprise product communities. (Equally, if you are just interested in Android Enterprise, you can feel right at home in the AE areas too).

Here are a few things to highlight:

  • Discover shared discussions: Access cross-product insights and expertise all in one place.
  • Dark mode: Take advantage of the new dark mode option for a more comfortable browsing experience.
  • Improved search: the search results page now includes Android Enterprise (as well as Chrome) Help Center articles.
  • Updated Resources area: making it easier to find relevant content and material

With any big updates there will be things that need fine tuning, but we hope you like the way the community is evolving. With any new platform we sometimes have to go back to go forward so please know we will be continuing to make improvements going forward.

What next? We have a couple of community features that weren’t quite ready for the community launch, so we will be opening for testing in March/April time. Plus, there are lots of exciting things on the way across the community, I look forward to sharing more soon.

A big thank you to our Trusted Tester (Insiders) who tested our new community ahead of the launch. Your feedback was super helpful and it’s just fantastic to have you involved

Action to take: if you were subscribed to any boards/areas before, these weren’t possible to carry over, so please make sure you subscribe to the areas you would like to receive notifications about, such as new topics or replies being created.  You will see a ‘Subscribe’ button on each board and remember you can review your subscriptions in your avatar/profile dropdown menu.

Explore and share your thoughts We encourage you to take some time to explore the new boards and features. We’d love to hear what you think and if you spot anything that’s not quite working as expected please let us know in the comments below!

Thank you for being part of this journey with us.

Chat soon,

Lizzie and the Community Team

@Lizzie @Emilie_B A weird question i didn’t notice during testing but do the relevant areas not have a follow function anymore?

I haven’t gotten notified about this post by mail and the one from @Alex_Muc in the cafe as well and then started searching for that functionality as i thought i might need to re-follow but i haven’t found it for the areas, only see it in a topic which won’t help to get notified about new topics.

But maybe i just over see it (if important: I’, ofc in dark mode as this is the only real color to be used:P )

...i just noticed, you need to subscribe to each sub topic area… ok that was too easy to be overseen as i was looking into the general area...

Thanks so much for flagging this @Moombas - this was something I intended to flag in my post above, sorry about that. I’ve now added it in my post above as a action item.  🙏
