Hey everyone,

As generative AI increasingly integrates into the workplace, we recognize that your teams may already be exploring these experiences. Android Enterprise is here to help provide the effective control and secure deployment for the generative AI experiences your teams use every day, ensuring you can leverage this technology securely.

We’ve heard your questions here in the Customer Community about controlling business data and managing AI tools on Android, and so I’m pleased to share with you this Guide to Generative AI controls, which covers key business concerns, from ensuring the security and integrity of company data to exploring Android Enterprise and Google controls for generative AI experiences.

We hope this guide will provide insights into the ways you can leverage the power of generative AI in your business, while implementing the necessary controls to protect your data.

AI is ever evolving, so we’d love to keep the conversation going here in the community. Are there any other things related to AI that you would like to hear more about? Are you finding that employees in your company are keen to use AI in the workplace?

Thanks,

Lizzie

Lizzie, is there a way to poll AE community members (as opposed to a discussion thread) to see how many organizations are actively limiting access to Generative AI on company devices through app blocking and network restrictions vs. starting with comprehensive education and people policies to raise awareness about AI to limit risky information leakage?

That would definitively be an interesting poll and result. I think we, as IT minded people, should embrace AI, but should do so in a safe and secure way.

The document looks really good. I haven't really thought about SDK-driven AI experiences. So far, we have primarily thought about how to control AI device features (on device / with cloud connection).

And in the section on the screen-driven AI experience, I find the detailed answers to one of my questions. 😁

This is great to hear Alex_Muc. I was actually going to ping you, because I know you asked a question about this a few weeks ago. So it's fantastic that it's helped to answer it.

Do you get quite a few questions from colleague on using AI on their devices?
