    So far, we had one question from ​@gjermund_tor on the call:

    As I understand, more and more is being pushed to the device instead of being applied in the cloud. How will this affect the devices and lifecycle on these? Will i.e. my pixel 9 be obsolete even if the security is covered, simply because the hardware will become to weak?

      As answered during the call, here’s the response:

      The seven-year update cycle is supported by the hardware's design. The chipset used in entry-level devices like the Pixel 9 series is powerful enough to handle modern AI models, and Google optimizes these models to remain performant on existing hardware throughout the seven-year lifespan.
