Can't add additional users: The organization that invited you has no other licenses

Hi all,

after registering company for Android Enterprise, to use with our EEM Solution from Sophos we added 10 users (send invitation and confirm/register process). Trying to add the 11th user we get the error: 

The organization that invited you has no other licenses to add users. Contact your administrator.

(translated from german)

How/where can we get additional licenses? Thought for Android Enterprise we don't need to buy licenses...

of course we have the licenses for the EMM solution from Sophos (Sophos Mobile).

Any help appreciated.

Hi Lutz,

 

you connect your android enterprise account to your MDM solution, and from that MDM solution you manage everything related to your devices. You don't need to add users to your Google Enterprise account when using device management. 

 

You can however add users to help manage your Android Enterprise account, but that should be IT only (in most cases). Not sure how it works with licenses on that side so can't help you there!

    Hi Michel,

    you're right, of course it is enough to create the google enterprise partnership, users are provided by the MDM solution.

    Hey Lutz,

     

    Have you verified the domain? That looks like an error from the new sign-up flow. All limitations on users are removed after verification.
