EMM Quota
Hi Everyone,
I am trying to set up a fully managed device for my organization. I have completed the process of enterprise creation, but as I generate the enrollment QR and begin setup of my Android, I get an error stating "Since your organization reached its usage limits, this device can't be set up".
What am I missing as I can't see any graph or option to increase my limit. Furthermore, I have deleted all the devices from my enterprise. My organization needs a scalable solution so that we can manage thousands of device .
Please let me know how to proceed forward.
Thanks

Hi LAKSHAYNE
It's great to hear you are interested in becoming a Partner.
I'm not sure if you have seen another recent conversation here in the community on how to become a partner, as some of this information may be useful.
Otherwise, as this community is aimed at Customers using Android Enterprise I would recommend you contacting our Partner team directly at ae-community@google.com.
I hope this helps?
Thanks,
Emilie

Hi LAKSHAYNE
Let's see if Moombas and/or jasonbayton and/or Michel could help you out - anything you can suggest, esteemed members?

Hey LAKSHAYNE,
can you tell us which tool you use for the management yet (AMAPI)?
If you talk about thousands of devices, i would recommend to go with some official EMM (not Intune!)
You can find a list here: https://androidenterprisepartners.withgoogle.com/emm/
To be honest, there are huge differences regarding pricing and functionalities and you will find several ones here using this and that.
Most important is, you take down notes what the EMM needs to do now and in future (i think we had an article about some valuable points to consider here Emilie_B , do you remember the link to it?).
If you digged out some, reach out to them for pricing and a live demo/ trial.

Hi Moombas ,
I don't want to use any external EMM i want to create my own for the organization . The main purpose of it is to remote lock the device i case if we see the employee is not reachable anymore. I was going through some documentation . I wrote the code for most of it but was stuck with the quota limit.

It sounds to me like you're running your own EMM with your own Google Cloud Project?
If so, please review permissible usage. There's a form to submit for approval to use AMAPI, but this approval is only granted for commercial products offered to the ecosystem and not private/internal solutions.

Yes, exactly — I'm building my own EMM using my own Google Cloud project.
Thank you, Jason, for your response. The form is asking for a DUNS number, which is where I'm currently stuck. Once I get past that step, could you please let me know how long Google usually takes to process the request?- RakibLevel 2.3: Gingerbread2 months ago
Looks like you should contact ae-community@google.com for additional support. If you are missing your DUNS number, I recommend using Apple who have their own look up database.
