We're excited to announce an important evolution for our ChromeOS community. To enhance your experience and foster a more dynamic environment, we are hostiing our community on this shared platform alongside the Android Enterprise community. While this move brings our communities closer, it's important to note that the new platform will feature distinct, separate areas for ChromeOS and Android Enterprise discussions. This ensures you'll still find dedicated support and conversations specific to your ChromeOS devices and deployments. So, why the shared space? This strategic decision is driven by a few key benefits: Leveraging superior community management functionality: Quite simply, Android Enterprise are a little further down their road in the building of their Enterprise customer community, and we want to build something similar for ChromeOS. This new platform will provide us with better functionality to grow and evolve the way we want. Increasing product synergy: As ChromeOS and Android Enteprise products begin to work together more effectively over the coming years, having our communities in close proximity allows for easier sharing of insights on integrated solutions and best practices that span both ecosystems. Shared stakeholders, greater efficiency: We know that many of our key stakeholders within your businesses manage both ChromeOS laptops and Android devices. This shared platform will create efficiencies in how you liaise with us, offering a more unified touchpoint for all your device management needs. We believe this integration will create a more robust, interconnected, and ultimately more valuable resource for everyone. It's an opportunity to learn from a wider community while maintaining focused discussions where you need them most. Thank you for being a vital part of our ChromeOS community. We welcome you to our new, shared home.51Views3likes0CommentsAMA: Solving Modern Workplace Security Challenges

Hi everyone, My name is Lynda and I am the Community Manager here in the ChromeOS Customer Community. ou know how sometimes in meetings, we go around and share a "fun fact" about ourselves? If you're anything like me, you might spend those precious moments before it's your turn frantically searching your brain for something halfway interesting to say. Well, good news! You can relax, because we're not putting you on the spot like that here. There's no need to panic or scour your memory – we're taking a different approach! So, in your own time, just take a moment...😀 It's really nice in a community to get to know eachother and it would be fantastic to hear from you! I'll kick us off: I've been working in enterprise tech for the last 15 years. I'm a big fan of music, arts and crafts and getting out in the fresh air! I’m from Ireland originally but currently live in the UK. Please share a few facts about yourself, (here are a couple of ideas): What type of industry do you work in? Which country you are based in? Hobbies or interests? Favourite / couldn't live with out piece of tech? Looking forward to speaking with you. Thanks, Lynda1View0likes0Comments
