This past year, we have thoroughly enjoyed working with ChromeOS. We are proud to have equipped over 15,000 end-users with a fast, mobile digital workplace. Zero Touch enrollment, in particular, continues to be a major asset for us. Looking ahead to next year, we plan to dive deeper into Cameyo. Our goal is to offer this to our customers, enabling us to move away from even more legacy systems.
Cameyo or Cameyno?
The recent webinar we had around Cameyo and how it has developed over the past 12 months leading up to its general availability, left us excited but with further questions around how it would cope in our environment and the challenges we see with our current solution. Big news! Cameyo by Google reaches General Availability on November 17th. Cameyo uses Virtual App Delivery (VAD), a modern alternative to VDI, to stream legacy Windows or Linux apps directly into the browser or as a PWA. This means: 100% ChromeOS is now possible.
