hi AE Team  we are a Canada based software company and has try to apply EMM Community recently .  but we get rejected unfortunately  . The email we receive said your organization does not meet the requirements to enter the community.but we don't know what is the requirement exactly , we have filled the form and submitted all docu .  is there any one can help us ?  thanks , David 

On Apple devices, you are able to re-name mass Texts to correspond with the people in the mass text. Does anybody know if this is a thing on Android? I am in 1 too many mass texts and they are all simply listed as "mass text"  And how do you delete mass texts? How can you delete them and have them never come back? I have a Samsung Galaxy FE 5G so I am wondering if the type of phone you has anything to do with this issue. Thanks for reading this little rant about my brain not working 

Battery draining fast A14 5G 

I have an enterprise application with Kiosk mode. Android system update is downloading new android update(Like android 14 pending update) and ready for installation but did not install because my app is top of the system. I have configured my device policy to automatic update but system always postponed the update.  My device is user admin.1. How can I force system to install the update without notifying the user? 

Hi, I'm trying to get some explanation on why the system updates is behaving differently on Pixel and Samsung devices. The System update Type is set to "AUTOMATIC"  in the Android Management Policy.On Google Pixel : the screen says "System software update of this device is controlled by your organization" and doesn't allow the user to manually update as well. It eventually updates to latest SPL but this is causing new corporate device enrollment a ~2hr delay to get the latest SPL and therefore delay in setup of some of the apps that have strict Security patch level requirement.On Samsung : The screen is not blocked and the user can manually update, but in case the user doesn't manully update the automatic update never happens.Curious on what is the reason for this behavior.

I'm hoping to get a better understanding of the SystemUpdateType policy available for COWP devices, we're currently moving from POWP to COWP for our devices (40K) and are looking to benefit from streamlining as much as possible for our end-users. Looking at the documentation for the SystemUpdateType policy it isn't described as to whether the Automatic update option would force an Operating System update even if the device is in active use (User on a call, App open and in use etc). Does anyone have detailed information as to how the Automatic update option works? I'm hoping to get a reply from a google employee on this if possible. Below is the link to the documentation for anyone interested. 

There is an issue with Zero Touch Configuration Profiles. When Selecting the configuration of choice under the Devices tab, Unless the device has Enterprise Default Profile, the device will not show under Configuration Info in Android EMM Registration- Zero Touch. If I select the configuration the number declines per device selected under that Configuration Profile. 

Application device policy is set Automatic update but did not instal the system update automatically. Seems like that system update is downloading but not processing for the installation. I am provisioning a fleet of fully managed devices (running Android 10) via AMAPI, and due to our specific use-case, I'd prefer to set them up in multi-app Kiosk mode. However, while I was evaluating Kiosk mode, I noticed something strange: data exchange between apps seems to be broken.Example #1: User scans a QR code containing a website URL, and taps "open link" in the QR scanner app -> Chrome opens, but does not attempt to open the website, it just shows the last opened pages.Example #2: User searches for an address via google.com in Chrome. Then taps on the map thumbnail in the  search results. Need help and/or feedback. We are looking at rolling out several hundred android devices for ordering purposes over the next year and I am running into an issue getting these devices registered. Running into the issue where it tells me "MAXIMUM NUMBER OF DEVICES ALLOWED TO ENROLL INTO THIS ANDROID ENTERPRISE USER ACCOUNT HAS BEEN REACHED". after look into this I've noticed that the USER ACCOUNT has a limit of 10 devices. Is there another way to add more devices or will I need to create more user accounts?

Hi, I am trying to generate a valid QR to provision devices but it only works on certain versions of Android.Apparently the QR payload is ok (as it is working on some devices) but when testing it with Android 14 it only gives me an error saying the "Can't set up device. Contact your IT admin for help" but no other explanation is given. I've tried different payloads but no one seems to work with Android 14. Is there any change in Android 14 that prevents devices to be provisioned via QR?I am aware that Google does not allow custom DPCs registrations anymore but I do not know if this is the case (maybe devices from Android 14 can only be provisioned with Google DPC or something like that?) This is the payload I'm working with: {    "android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_DEVICE_ADMIN_COMPONENT_NAME": "com.applivery.mdm.dpcpoc/.MyDeviceA

I'm trying to add a new app to our environment as google play managed app. Adding the app itself to the Intune app list works as expected, but the problem arises when I'm trying to add that app to our google play collection (from the left menu in google play -> organise apps). Normally I look up the app in the search field and select it, then save the changes in the collection. It seems like today the search field is not working, no return comes up. Doesn't matter what I fill in, the field doesn't find anything, and there's no feedback either if I press enter or if I click on the magnifying glass icon.What could I check? 

We are unable to create accounts in the terotouch portal. We get the massage:'" Error an unexpected error has occurred. Try again leter." 'This massage is for all of the users that try this. what is the next step to prevent this ?  Kind regards Petri

I initially posted this as a reply to my existing topic, but was pointed out that this should have been a standalone topic.Appreciate that this is an Android forum, but as people on here have been so helpful I thought I'd ask in here..I have a question over managing iOS Personally owned devices. I have spent a couple of days trying different ways to no avail.We need to be able to secure data held on personally owned iOS devices, I can enrol the device absolutely fine using Enrolment type "User enrolment with Company Portal", despite my best efforts I cannot find a way to remove Outlook data when the device is no longer managed, whether done by deleting the device out of Endpoint or if the user does that on their own device. Outlook data stays there. The app is also set to uninstall on device removal but again this does not happen.I have tried creating an "App protection policy" for Outlook

Hello there,I hope you're doing well.According to the documentation for Device Owner at this link, it's not possible to provision devices using Zero Touch along with Device Owner. Our business requires persistent enrollment, and Zero Touch would be ideal for our case.However, due to the reduction in daily quotes with a new limit of 500 devices per project, it's no longer feasible to enroll all our devices using Zero Touch as we did before (due to changes in Google API quotas). Because of this, we have opted to switch to using Device Owner. However, with QR code enrollment, persistence is not guaranteed. Do you have any workarounds for this, or do you plan to launch Zero Touch provisioning with Device Owner in the future?Thank you !

Is it possible to share photos /files from Google Photos to Outlook on kiosk mode ?  looks like from outlook we can attach the files but not from Google photos ?   Regards,Srikanth
