Hello, We have a custom mobile device management solution that we built to manage android tablets that get sent out to patients with our private application pre-installed. Currently we disable the notifications drawer so that they cannot access settings, and see all of the spam SMS notifications that the tablets get via the default messages application. Is there a way to alter the notifications settings for the default messages app so that it can't display notifications, or some way we can clear them out?
Hi dev,I have idea about new featue private space ,This time we create olny one privte space , it thought it move to user base private space if we have 3 different IDlogin then user create 3 private space , and we login this ID in another device than no need to create private space .

I was wondering if anyone else was having problems enrolling Samsung S23s using Samsung Knox Mobile Enrollment into MS Intune? I read the other thread about S23s and Zero-Touch failing, but that seems different than what we see. We get to a point where Chrome browses to https://play.google.com. The page says: Please click here to continue. No matter how many times you tap that link, nothing happens. Everything is just stuck. If you wait a long time, the phone just restarts and is in some weird state. Using the QR code works fine. Also, other models, like the Samsung S20, enroll just fine using Knox Mobile Enrollment into Intune. This is what it looks like. I opened a case with MS, but they say that is Google's page, and they can't control what it does.
I'm new to Zero-Touch technology, and I'm experiencing an issue where a device completes enrollment using a QR code, but within two hours, it automatically resets after receiving a notification.I don't have much experience with Zero-Touch, so I'm unsure how to fully manage and complete the enrollment process. Is there another method to ensure that the device is fully managed after enrollment, or any best practices to avoid this reset issue?Any guidance or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated!
Hello guys,I hope you're doing great. We are planning to use Zero Touch enrollment for one organization. This organization has devices in the field, and the end users are not technically proficient, making it difficult to guide them through a factory reset.Given this, my question is: if we add these IMEI numbers to the portal, will it initiate a factory reset to enroll these devices into the platform? Is there any way to determine if these devices will perform a factory reset? I tested this with a Xiaomi device, but the notification saying "this device belongs to your organization, and your device will be reset" never appeared. I have observed that with some brands, Google forces a factory reset, but I am unsure what this depends on.Thank you in advance.Best,
Hello everyone,we have a problem getting one of our customers into the Zero Touch Portal. We get this error message:Any idea what we can do here? Thanks in advance.Best regardsThomas
Hi, I have logged in today to the Google Zero Touch portal and it looks like all configurations, devices and resellers are gone now. This needs to be fixed asap as we are standing close to a mass rollout for which the ZTP was set up and connected to our MDM solution
Hello everyone! I am running into an issue, I need to update the Android versions in my device fleet, currently we work with Android 11, 12 and 13, and would like to upgrade all devices to Android 14. Due to our use case, our devices (SM-T225) only utilize SIM data, and we require this update to roll out without user interaction. Our current EMM offers the options:* automatic system updates* windowed system updates* postpone installation* disable installation However, all options cause the user to be shown a pop-up for the download of the system update, after which it succesfully installs automatically. Is there any way to automatically install system updates with mobile data without user input (Just as if devices were connected to WiFi) Thank you for your help,Juan
We enroll devices into intune as COPE, but we are finding issues when users connect the device to android auto, any stored contacts in the work profile do not feed through. Has anybody come across this before? or know if there is a way to share contacts from work profile with Android Auto?
Hi! We have an ongoing problem with adding apps to our company collection in managed google play. We can add a private app or create a web-app and it works perfectly fine. We can assign the app through Intune so our end users are able to use it. However, we've had an ongoing problem for over 6 months now where we cannot find the app when trying to add it to our collection. We can search for apps but they do not appear when we search, thus making us unable to add it to the collection which in turn makes it so our users cannot find the app directly in the managed play store and has to search for it themselves. The issue happens with both private and web-apps and we've noticed that sometimes the app is searchable and we are able to add it to our collection after a varying time period. We've had apps that appears in a search after a few weeks, a few months and some haven't showed up at all since this problem started. I can't say for sure when it happened but it's been more than 6
Dear Community, We are planning to discontinue our Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution, which is connected to a managed Google Play account. We have uploaded several private applications that appear to be permanently locked to this account. For our new MDM solution, we created a new account because it was not possible to link two MDM solutions to a single account. Additionally, transferring private applications between two Managed Google Play accounts seems to be impossible. We have shared our private applications via the Google Play Console with the new Account ID, which is functioning properly. My question is: Will our account be suspended or retired if we disconnect the MDM solution? Will we still have direct access to the console to manage the private applications afterward? Thank you for your assistance in this matter.Best regards,Walter
Hi All,yesterday we created an additional admin user for zero touch portal management. Right after, it seems we lost one of our two user instances, now I don't see any more devices, reseller or configurations. Please help, as we are currently not able to see any content in the portal. I hope it is possible to restore. Any help welcome. Many thanks in advance!Best regards, Tobias
Hello Android Enterprise community Im currently exploring options for monitoring Android devices used in a dental care environment. The devices in question are hand scanners, specifically designed for dental use, and there is no private use intended. Our goal is to monitor key metrics like battery usage, device drops, and GPS location to ensure theyre functioning optimally and to track their whereabouts for maintenance purposes. I was thinking of using an open-source Zabbix server to monitor the devices. My plan is to send data via endpoints to get insights into network performance, battery health, and general device status. Has anyone implemented Zabbix for Android devices in a similar way before? Do you think it’s a good solution for this use case? Are there any potential challenges I should be aware of? I’d also appreciate any advice on best practices for implementing such a system especially when it comes to ensuring data accuracy and performance monitoring in a heal

Hi Everyone, sitting with an issue on three O365 tenants at the at the moment that I have escalated to Microsoft. Was hoping that someone else experienced this issue as well or can point me in the right direction. After opening the connector to bind the EMM (Intune) to the google play store the I grant Microsoft permissions to send both user and device information to Google is greyed out. I can close and the window and then reopen it and I can then tick the box. After that the Launch Google to connect now Button becomes available and the windows that pops up asks me to sign in with my google account. I have created numerous accounts, personal, work and school and tested with them. After the login into the google account it does not continue with the EMM setup. the box displays "The Page has expired. To restart your registration, please reload the page from your EMM console. Only way past that is to log out of the Gmail Account and then log in again with the same issue "The page ha
Hello, I'm trying to follow the instructions to the letter for publishing an application in our MDM (Intune) whose APK is hosted outside the Google Play Store. However, in the steps, it's mentioned that you have to Opt out of app signing by Google Play. This no longer seems possible. So I continued the process, but when it came time to import the .json file. It informs me that: Your APK file exceeds the maximum upload size (100 MB). Switch to the Android App Bundle format or upload a smaller APK file. You have uploaded an invalid archive ZIP file. The APK file is hosted externally, so it cannot be signed by Play. The AndroidManifest.xml file in the Android application collection or in the uploaded APK file could not be analyzed. Has it been compiled correctly? The name “dji.go.v4” already exists in Google Play. Please use another package name. Am I at a dead end? Thank you for your help. Hello everyone, New to Google device management and hoping someone is able to help me out. I had tried to enroll various Android devices in COPE, Work Managed and Work Profile (BYOD) modes but each of them are failing at the "Registering profile" screen. In my organization, we are going to renew equipment, and we were reviewing the option that the equipment we are quoting is an Android Enterprise Recommended device. We were considering the possibility of starting to manage all policies through Microsoft Intune. Now, my question is, aside from having an Android Enterprise Recommended device and the respective active Intune service and everything it entails, do I need anything else, or can I start managing my devices with just this? I would greatly appreciate your support and any additional comments. Best regards.
i am now researching on android management API. when i was on research i got a doubt that in enrollment tokens we can choose the lifetime of the token. But there is no way to choose the lifetime of the sign in enrollment token.i have gone thorough the android management and i could not find the ways to set the lifetime of the sign in enrollment token or the default life time of it. Can anyone help me with that?thanks!
Hi, I am building a MDM app for my Company. Our MDM agent app is signed by OEM. I would like my app to be able to:- Clear third party app cache- Create and Update APN settings.I know I can use android DevicePolicyManager API to clear third party app cache but we already have thousands of devices sold to our clients. We can't recall them to factory reset so our app can can have device owner status. I know other MDM providers managed to do this without Device Ownership(I have used one). Can anyone please point me into right direction. My APP is signed by OEM, yet it doesn't have some system level privileges like clearing third party app cache and updating APN setting. Thank you in advance.
