We have a use case where we use Android devices that are corporate-owned but also personally-enabled. Within our ogranisation, we want the capability to trace and block apps. However, this is currently not possible because the apps are installed in the private section. Is there a way to achieve this in the private section? We are using Microsoft Intune as our MDM (Mobile Device Management) environment.6.5KViews0likes9CommentsHow to get IMEI number in Android version 10 or above?

I have a 2019 Harley Ultra Limited with a Boom GTS touchscreen radio. I recently installed an update that now allows Android Auto IF I AM CONNECTED VIA USB CABLE. My phone will work on other radios wirelessly, but won't work on the Harley. Is there something else I have to install to make this work? It used to work wirelessly on my 2018 Grand Cherokee, but won't work on my 2022 Grand Cherokee? That's weird. Any ideas?3.7KViews0likes5Commentslocation permission per app
we have an app that requires to set 'Allow all the time' for location permission. We are using Intune MDM and the android 13 enrolled device are using the enrolment of android enterprise corporate-owned fully managed and corporate-owned with work profile. In Intune, there is app config and I set both location auto grant and deploy to the devices. After the app config is deployed successfully to the device, I checked the location permission for the app is still 'don't allow' Then I launch the app to accept the location permission prompt to select 'allow only while using the app'. However, the user is still able to change location permission for the app. Question is this by design that user is able to change the location permission of an app even it is set as auto grant in MDM? Is there a way or is it by design that google does not allow MDM to set 'allow all the time' for an app location permission and it needs to be set by user manually? Could not find any official answer from google or microsoft on this location privacy thing if it is by design.3.1KViews0likes3CommentsHow can I become Enter the Android Enterprise EMM community and become Android Enterprise Partner?
Dear Friends, I tried to join the Android Enterprise community and become an Android Enterprise Partner through the website guidance at https://developers.google.com/android/management/join?hl=en (step2) However, when I attempted to apply, I was informed by Android Enterprise that my application information and organization did not meet the requirements. So, I tried to inquire about which requirements were not met, the detailed information about these requirements, and what we could do to meet them. But the answer we received was that these requirements are confidential, and we simply do not meet them. They are also preparing to close our application. I'm confused. If the requirements are confidential, how can we meet them? Has anyone else encountered this situation? Are there any hidden rules that are unclear? How would you suggest dealing with this situation? Additionally, here is a portion of the reply email from AE Team: “We regret to inform you that your organization did not meet the program requirements at this time. Each program typically has specific criteria, eligibility requirements, and objectives that organizations must align with in order to participate. These criteria and requirements are often confidential and vary from program to program. We are facing a situation where users are complaining about the default Samsung Keyboard that comes with Galaxy devices as the corporate device. We are looking into providing other options such as Gboard and Swiftkey but the problem is we are unable to fully secure traffic going to these third party services. For Gboard there are some options onthe MDM as amanaged app while Swiftkey does not have many options. Main reason we stick with Samsung is the Knox service plugin which helps secure the device more including keyboard however it only applies to samsung keyboard. With each other keyboard we introduce we have to rely on the key value pairs that come with the app to select options we can lock down as needed. Not all the app developers are enterprise focused so its hard to get any feature requests thoguh. Only other thing I can think of is blocking traffic at a network level to ensure nothing goes through but then we would need to know the addresses that are used. Has anyone faced this situation?1.8KViews0likes2CommentsENROLLMENT IN ANDROID ENTERPRISE PROGRAM
Hi, Lizzie I was hoping you could guide me to the right person please. We are working on a B2B project, and through our discovery phase we noted that to execute the functionality we want within our APK, we need to build out a working UEM platform. We were advised that the only way this was possible was to enrol within the Enterprise Partner Program. We applied but after a week we were told we were not eligible, but not entirely sure why. When something like this happens, who can we speak to please to understand how we can move forward? Many Thanks JohnSolved1.8KViews0likes4CommentsCan't access internet DPC app
