app management

Hello all, We're facing an issue with our Intune/Managed Google Play connector. Google has deleted the account set up specifically to connect to our Managed Google Play instance in Intune. This has been an active link, with the last new device registered about 2 weeks ago and apps on devices being updated since then. We are currently unable to enroll new devices or add new apps. We are also unable to attempt to recover the account and have not been able to find a way to contact Google directly about the account issue. Barring being able to recover the account, are there ways for us to lessen the impact of creating a new account for the linkage? Or are we going to have to have all our Android BYOD users re-enroll their devices?25KViews5likes49CommentsHow to manage app using Intune
I want some suggestions on how to manage applications in our workplace. We purchased an Android app for our employees to work in the warehouse. The vendor provides two methods of getting the app to our devices. One is to download it directly from the Play Store, and the other is from the vendor's website. When something is broken, the vendor will roll back by uploading the new version of the app to the Play Store if the problem is informed on time. Sometimes, we have to go to the download site to download the previous version to solve the immediate issue due to the time zone difference. There, we want to manage the app using Intune. We want to deploy the apk directly to the device using Line Of Business. However, it only works if we enrolled devices using Device Administrator. Unfortunately, it is impossible now since Intune has stopped supporting this enrollment type. If we use the Play Stores managed private app to upload the apk, it would get an error with the package name. We do not think that the vendor will build different package names for every customer. So here is my question: How could we achieve something we achieved in the past and now we cannot? Intune said it is the change that Google made due to security reasons. Any suggestion would be much appreciated!!!8.9KViews0likes10CommentsManaged Play Store is empty on devices
We are using Intune to manage our devices and have configured a Managed Goole instance for applications. Problem is that no apps what so ever is visible in the managed play store on the users devices. When I open the managed play store it just says found no results as if no apps were published. If I search for lets say Outlook. then I can see the Outlook applicationin the search result. Applications that are set to required on devices are installed just fine. Tried several device, both physical and virtual with the same result. Also tried various ways to enroll and administrate the devices Any tips or suggestions?8.7KViews0likes9CommentsCan't add app to managed google play app collection (under ms Intune)
I'm trying to add a new app to our environment as google play managed app. Adding the app itself to the Intune app list works as expected, but the problem arises when I'm trying to add that app to our google play collection (from the left menu in google play -> organise apps). Normally I look up the app in the search field and select it, then save the changes in the collection. It seems like today the search field is not working, no return comes up. Doesn't matter what I fill in, the field doesn't find anything, and there's no feedback either if I press enter or if I click on the magnifying glass icon. What could I check?Solved8.5KViews3likes14CommentsHow to Start using Android Management API?

We have created a new business id for zero touch portal and all the EMM configurations have been set. Hi Guys. I am currently working on getting some devices for our warehouse enrolled into Intune. We already have our stuff setup, and plenty of phones enrolled. But for some reason, it seems like there is a disconnect somewhere between Intune and Managed Google play store (Yet not wholly). I can sync apps down, and enforce them onto the phone and they will show up. They will also show up in the google play store. The problem lies with the setting "Allow access to all apps in google play store". When this setting is set to not configured, you should not be able to see the regular app store but only the apps published by your IT Admins. I have tested this on both Corporate owned Work Profile and Corporate owned Fully managed device. Same thing happens. I have also tested on a demo tenant I set up where it works perfectly fine. First 2 pictures are from real tenant, the "bug". Next 4 are from Demo tenant where it is working I appreciate all the help I can get, since I have been in contact with Microsoft already and they just asked me to contact google after multiple hours of troubleshooting. Cheers guys, Niels5.5KViews1like6Comments
