Out of interest have you been using the work profile on your Android for long?
It's very cool to hear you fish off your kayak, I was speaking with someone the other day how had just been out on a kayak fishing for mackerel, it sounded very relaxing - but he didn't have much luck with the fishing that day! 😀
My company adopted the work profile as soon as it was available on Android. I can't recall how long that has been, but I had a Pixel 6xl for the about 3 years prior to my 9 pro and I'm pretty certain that it was for that entire time (at least). This is honestly the first time that it hasn't been completely transparent to me as a user. Once in a while I have to remember to find documents/messages/pictures in one profile or the other, but otherwise it has been good for the company and uneventful for me.
I will update the thread when they get this figured out.
The right kayak makes all the difference for fishing. I'm looking at some of the new ones that are so big that you can put an electric trolling motor on it to increase my range.
