How to Handle Delisted Apps in Google EMM During or After Device Provisioning?
Hi everyone, We’re facing an issue where managed Android devices get stuck, preventing app installations when an app included in a policy is delisted from the Play Store. For example, we had the package “com.Xplayer” in a device policy, but when calling Products: get, it returned: “googleapi: Error 404: No product was found for the given ID., notFound.” However, this app was available earlier, and despite its removal, using the Devices: update API still updates the policy without any error or warning. Additionally, there’s a possibility that an app is present on the Play Store when it is approved and added to the policy but later gets removed or delisted by Google. This could lead to installation failures and devices getting stuck. Has anyone encountered this before? How can we prevent devices from getting stuck when an app is delisted? Does EMM automatically remove such apps from policies, or do we need to handle it manually by checking each package ID? Is there any way to get notified when an app is removed from the Play Store? Without a proactive mechanism, devices remain in a stuck state, making large-scale device management challenging. Any insights or best practices would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Silent installation of applications on TELPO devices using Android Enterprise
I have an Android application that I want to use on TELPO devices, but in a way that updates are downloaded silently on the device, meaning the user does not have to intervene to update or install an application. I understand that with the configurations offered by Android Enterprise, it is possible to set up a device to allow the actions I require.

We talk here in the community quite a lot about setting up company devices and managing devices whilst they are in use, but something we haven't gone into too much detail is what do you do with your devices once they have come to the end of their life at your company? I imagine you have to consider quite a few things; such as if you are removing devices how do you get new devices seamlessly back into use? What do you do with the old devices? Do you return them to your OEM or another company to be reused? There is a large sustainability factor here that you may also consider, as well as many other things. It would be great to hear how do you manage this? Do you have a set timeframe that you look to refresh devices? Any tips or challenges that you have discovered? Looking forward to hearing from you. We want to start using Android Enterprise with MS Intune.
In my organization, we are going to renew equipment, and we were reviewing the option that the equipment we are quoting is an Android Enterprise Recommended device. We were considering the possibility of starting to manage all policies through Microsoft Intune. Now, my question is, aside from having an Android Enterprise Recommended device and the respective active Intune service and everything it entails, do I need anything else, or can I start managing my devices with just this? Hello everyone, I hope you are having a good week. A management solution helps you to set up, secure and manage your devices in your organisation. I see it like a comfy hub for you to ensure that your devices are working as you expect (whatever size your company is). So understandably, one of the biggest decisions when getting started with Android at work is choosing the right EMM (Enterprise Mobility Management) for your needs. There is a solution out there to meet almost every need and use case, and sometimes knowing where to start can be tricky. We are lucky here in the community, that many people have already been through this decision and there is a huge amount of experience. The Solutions Directory is a useful place to explore partners and solution options, but there are also many questions and things to consider beforehand, so this got me thinking it would be great to share community tips/advice around this.
