Hi, I would like to ask you if there´s any Google check or limitation if the device has been enrolled to MobiControl with Google Play Account but after the enrollment device is connected in company closed network (without access to google services).Randomly on these devices after several months is displayed error message: Google Play Account: Account creation failed. Please click to try again. So of course on closed network it´s not possible to create it and it seems it´s fixed on hotspot but it takes a long time to create an account. Now I´m not sure if this notification will be displayed on these devices in closed network after several days or months. Right step is to enroll the device to MDM as AOSP but I would like to know if somebody enroll the device with google services but after that the device is moved to closed network. Is there any limitation after xx days / months? Thank you
I'm currently registered in the Android Enterprise Partner Portal (https://www.androidenterprise.dev/s/) and would like to apply to become a Zero-Touch Reseller. However, I am not seeing any option or link in the portal to start the Zero-Touch Reseller application process.Could someone please advise on the correct steps or prerequisites for enabling this feature? Is there a specific approval or account level required before this option becomes available? Thanks in advance for your help!
Hi , I saw Spingdel ( www.springdel.com ) is using AE API for mobile phone business in Mexico for customer https://citycellmx.com/ I want to check is it allowed or not ? thanks Jason
I have some customer who uses my EMM console integrated with Zero touch services. Some of his previous used device added in zero touch portal but not activate the device as enterprise device that means not enroll in emm portal. Rather using the devices as personal. Is it violate the google zero touch policy?
{written in Gemini ;) who literally wrote this out perfectly}I'm requesting an enhancement to the Android Device Provisioning API (Zero Touch) to include filtering capabilities, specifically the ability to filter devices by serial number (and other relevant fields) in the initial API call.Current Situation:Currently, the API lacks direct filtering. As demonstrated in the code below, to find a device by its serial number, we must:Make a call to list all devices for a customer.Iterate through the entire list of devices in the response to find the specific device.Iterate through any following pages if not found on the first page. This is inefficient, especially for customers with a large number of provisioned devices.const listDevicesUrl = `https://androidprovisioning.googleapis.com/v1/customers/${customerId}/devices`; // ... const listResponse = await fetch(listDevicesUrl, { ... }); const listData = await listResponse.json(); let foundDevice = null; if (listData && listData.device
Hi Team, We are unable to enroll the Samsung S25 Ultra devices in Intune as BYOD. We are getting the "Can't add work profile " error during the enrollment process. So far we received couple of requests for same issue and the affected users count is increasing day by day. We have reached to Microsoft team as well, they suggested to check with Samsung team.
I'm being very confused when trying to add a private app into the Stix EMM, and I'm not sure where the problem lies, so I'm asking here! I successfully loaded it in: But when I then click on that and then try to click Select app... nothing happens. Nothing on screen, nothing in the dev console, no network traffic... Nothing. And so I can't add this app to my devices. And I'm entirely lost as to what's going on. Is this a Stix thing? Or an Android Enterprise thing?
Hello, We manage Android mobile devices with an Ivanti MobileIron MDM. For the past few days, we have been experiencing issues with forced installations—they are no longer being pushed to our devices (silent install). Ivanti has indicated that Google support tickets have been opened. Issue: We are unable to connect an external fingerprint scanner on KIOSK mode while scanner is working fine in non-kiosk mode. Below is the policy. With this same policy we are able to connect to external scanner when we just change from KIOSK to Force_Installed. https://api.npoint.io/15f073eed7df2239c25a
I need help. When enrolling a device on Intune, we are getting stuck on the Choose Device category page where it does not allow us to press the OK button. We have two vendors supplying us phones and the issue is happening with both vendors (devices are Pixel 8s and 9s). Please help!
Hey! I noticed a little bug today and wanted to ask if anyone else is experiencing this. With the update to Play Store 46.1.37-31 [0] [PR] 755161904, a push message informs you that Google Play Services must be updated. With a COPE device, this only occurs in the work profile. Even if Google Play Services is updated to the latest version (25.18.33 (190400-756823100)), the message appears as soon as you open the Managed Play Store. @Lizzie Is there anything known here? The Managed Play Store works normally despite the warning in the push message. I would also have logs if required.
We have recently noticed on our managed devices that are currently on Google Play Service v25.18.33 get the following error when running Managed Google Play Store app on devices. Notification appears as soon as we open the Playstore app. It says the following: "Update Google Play Services:Google Play Store wont run unless you update Google Play Services." At the same time we are noticing that some devices are not seeing one of our custom work managed app we have deployed from our Managed Google play store. This seems to happen just around the same time the above issue. Can this be investigated.
Dear Community, I have a problem signing in to the Google Account that we are using for Intune. When trying to sign in we only get an error. It seems that the MFA method changed from Phone Call to SMS, and the registered number is from a VoIP system that can't receive SMS. Other account recovery methods don't work as we don't have enough information for recovery. Is there any chance that a support employee can help or swap the MFA method back to a phone call? Best regards,Thomas
Hello All We have a problem with our Android devices enrolled as kiosk devices with Microsoft Intune. We set up SCEP and NDES to get certificates. All is set up correctly (We opened up a Intune support ticket for this issue, after 6 months the conclusion was that it is not an Intune issue, MS recommended to open up a Android support ticket..)We us a wifi profile, with al the recommended settings. Wifi profile comes trough on the device. But the settings are not filled in. We give the options like outer identity and use scep profile as user cert, but we still need to manually adjust the wifi profile. (despite the fact the wifi profile is applied correctly). we used this to setup our WiFi enterprise profile : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/configuration/wi-fi-settings-android#enterprise We use Zebra devices, so they use the oemconfig. we only use our oemconfig for specific settings. General settings, like wifi, we set up those trough Intune configura
Android has come a long way since its early days, evolving from a basic smartphone OS to a powerful platform that powers billions of devices worldwide. With every major release, we see improvements in performance, security, design, and user experience. From Android’s open-source flexibility to the introduction of Material You and AI-driven features, the platform keeps pushing the boundaries. One of the strengths of Android has always been its customization. Users love being able to tweak their device—from launchers and widgets to ROMs and root access. However, as Android becomes more polished and secure, some of these freedoms have become more limited. Is the trade-off worth it?Another topic worth exploring is Android’s fragmentation. While it gives manufacturers flexibility, it also creates inconsistency in updates and app performance. With initiatives like Project Treble and Android One, Google has made strides, but are we seeing real results? And now with AI integration, foldabl
I'm trying to deploy a Managed Google Play app on Samsung Galaxy tablets using Intune. The devices are enrolled as Corporate-owned with a work profile. The app is uploaded to the Play Console, approved by Google, and synced with Intune, but it's not deploying. Intune reports the devices as not applicable, and the app isn't visible in the work-badged Play Store.I've tried different assignment settings, switching between "required" and "available," and tested both user-based and device-based groups separately. I also experimented with BYOD enrollment types, but none of these approaches worked.
Hello Everyone, I've noticed that the OnePlus Nord CE4 is not included in the Android Enterprise Recommended (AER) devices list, which can be found here: https://androidenterprisepartners.withgoogle.com/devices/#!?search=Oneplus. While the OnePlus Nord CE3 and CE4 Lite are currently listed, I'm curious to know when the OnePlus Nord CE4 might be added. Could someone provide insight into whether the OnePlus Nord CE4 will be added to the AER list in the near future? Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Is there a way to skip the "setup using another device" wizard screen? We don't see the benefit of showing up this option, on company environment, having MDM managed devices with Zero touch enrollment setup. That screen is specifically, the 3rd screen, when setting up a new device, after selecting the language and the insert SIM card instrucctions screens. As those screens are right before the Network setup screen the device won't be able to connect with Google services to get MDM server and the custom profile, so not sure how to disable it? Thanks
Good afternoon,We are experiencing significant delays in getting our Google Play account verification approved, which is critically impacting the launch timeline for our application. We have submitted the requested documentation multiple times, but we continue to receive feedback stating that the name and address on our documents do not match those listed in our Duns and Bradstreet profile. After thoroughly reviewing the provided documents and cross-checking them against our Duns and Bradstreet information, we have found no discrepancies. Despite resubmitting the documents twice—each time including links to our official company listing in our country—the issue remains unresolved. We are now approaching three weeks without any clear guidance or resolution, despite Google’s stated turnaround time of up to two days.We have attempted to seek clarification through several support channels, including the contact request form, the Payments Profile Manager, and chat support, but the responses h
My team uses AMA API to managed devices. As part creation of enrollment token we push some applications and managed configuration to those applications as part of the policy. But we are noticing that this is not very reliable. We have many user stories where the app gets installed but the managed configuration is missing. This doesn't happen on all devices but the occurrence of this has been increasing. Is there any known issue or SLA on how long it takes for the managed configuration to be pushed? We have an Application that is set as Required for Setupin the policy. This Application has managed configuration setup, which is required for App registration. This is missing by the time app launches and app registration fails and consequently the work profile provisioning fails.
Verizon reseller is configured, and all other devices show up a day after the order is placed with no issue. Google pixel 9, Samsung Galaxy s24 FE, just not the Google Pixel 9a.Any idea why a specific phone model won't load?
Hi, I have enrolled 2 samsung devices to intune using the Corporate-owned devices with work profile and assigned many applications to the devices. However, 1 specific application has failed to install stating the "country or region doesn't support this application." This is strange because in the same tenant I have other samsung devices enrolled as BYOD which is assigned this same application can install. I tried to reach out to intune support and they cannot do anything about this and asked me to raise ticket to google and I don't really know where I can raise the ticket to google regarding. Please help as I have to figure this out and deploy the application. PS: This application is available in the play store for the region and country. So the error message doesn't make sense. Thank you
