Updating the Device Art Generator (Device Frame)
The Device art generator is a great tool for people who don’t want to install Android Studio just to take some framed screenshots for documentation use. There are third-party apps that can do this too (Snapmod), but I was wondering if the developers at Google could give the Device art generator some well-deserved love and update it to include Pixel 10 frames? Thanks. Thanks for the info Emilie_B. I've also contacted the developer regarding the possibility of adding the app to our Managed Google Play store and deploy it as a private app via Microsoft Intune but so far I haven't heard back. I guess Google Play Gift Card is always an option……😂23Views1like1CommentPaid apps in Managed Google Play store
Has anyone able to purchase (paid) apps in the Managed Google Play store? I assume we still have the following limitation in 2025? "Managed Google Play no longer supports the ability to purchase app licenses. Your organization can still manage the app licenses it already owns. However, it won't be possible to purchase any additional licenses." OP: https://support.google.com/googleplay/work/answer/6150398?hl=en The paid app we're trying to purchase:75Views0likes3CommentsRe: Control Wi-Fi Calling settings
Thanks Michel for the info! They did ask me the following (which is pretty much the same as what you've provided). To do so, simply create a normal case but begin the title with "FER <title>" Then, please complete the form below: Problem / Pain Point / Request Statement: Request Summary: Number of Impacted Devices/Users: Expected Result & Function in Solution: Environment & Target Device:16Views1like0CommentsRe: Control Wi-Fi Calling settings
Thanks Michael for the info. "The first one could be done with Knox Asset Intelligence (need a license and Samsung only), I believe Intune is working on adding extra information in their tooling." - Thanks for the info. In my original post: "The closest thing I've seen is to use Knox Asset Intelligence to check Wi-Fi Calling setting status on Samsung devices" "Second I believe isn't possible. If I remember correctly it has to do with something providers since they allow or not allow the use of wifi calling. But there is no API that lets you configure the preffered calling method (wifi or mobile data). I couldn't find an API at least. There might be oemConfigs that offer this, Samsung's version does not." -- That's what I believe as well but my client won't believe me until I get an answer directly from Google / Samsung. With Samsung, I did get a reply from their support team to say KSP (Knox Service Plugin) does not support this right now and asked me to create a ticket that begins with FER in the title (probably means feature request).12Views0likes2CommentsControl Wi-Fi Calling settings
Hi there, hope you're well. Just wondering is it possible to control the Wi-Fi Calling settings within Android via MDM? The closest thing I've seen is to use Knox Asset Intelligence to check Wi-Fi Calling setting status on Samsung devices: https://docs.samsungknox.com/admin/knox-asset-intelligence/dashboard/network-insights/wifi-calling-setting-status/ Thank you for your help & input in advance!102Views0likes6CommentsRe: Managed Play Store keeps asking for Google Play services Update
Hi Lizzie, hope you're well. Just to confirm that the latest version of Google Play services (none beta) has fixed the issue. The version number is 25.18.33 (260400-756823100). Test device: 1) S22 Ultra with One UI 7.0 / Android 15. 2) A22 5G with One UI 5.1 / Android 13.21Views1like2CommentsRe: Managed Play Store keeps asking for Google Play services Update
Thanks for posting this Alex. I can confirm our Samsung devices in Intune is also seeing this issue. Here are the test devices I've used: S25 Ultra with One UI 7.0 / Android 15 S22 Ultra with One UI 7.0 / Android 15 XCover7 with One UI 6.1 / Android 14 A16 5G with One UI 6.1 / Android 14 2x A15 5G with One UI 6.1 / Android 14 Devices are managed in MS Intune (Android Enterprise Dedicated / Corporate-owned dedicated devices). Like Alex have said earlier, I can confirm the issue is no longer there if I upgrade the Google Play services to beta 25.18.61(190400-755565618). Happy to proivde logs etc. if need be, thanks.502Views2likes0CommentsRe: Android 14 - Android Enterprise WiFi Profile Issues - Microsoft Intune
We have found a workaround to our Wi-Fi (EAP-TLS) issue by adding the Root CA Cert in our Samsung KME (Knox Mobile Enrolment)'s profile just to make sure the cert is deployed and trusted by the device before SCEP & Wi-Fi profile is deployed to the device. According to Microsoft, if the SCEP / Wi-Fi profile arrives before the Trusted Certs profile, the Wi-Fi (EAP-TLS) won't work until the device re-check with Intune again (next check-in is 8 hours away, and no you can't do manual sync for corporate-owned, fully managed user devices)10KViews1like0Comments
