Unexpected error. Please wait for some time and try again.
Hi everyone. May we know what might be the issue here. We are trying to bind an email address with Sophos Mobile (under Android Enterprise) and this shows the following error.
Other email works fine.

Hi ronnierodillas and welcome to the community 👋
I think this post might be helpful - essentially, when trying to add an admin email, this needs to be a gmail address.
Please keep us updated and let us know if you need additional help.

Emilie_B , could this be related to the other issue of someone not being able to set up a binding? https://www.androidenterprise.community/discussions/Conversations/intune-android-connection-unexpected-error/11531/, its the same proces just another MDM.
And to add to this, you don't need a gmail address, you need a google account. It can be a google account on a gmail address but a company address could also be used.
IF a google account is not found, you should see a different error.

ronnierodillas could you please raise a ticket via your EMM and send me the ticket number via a private message?
Thank you 🙂

Thank you for your feedback Michel and Emilie.
For the background, we are registering our email (google workspace) into Sophos Mobile and we are redirected on that particular site in which we need to put the email address. However, it fails.
I saw a similar issue in the thread above and its quite similar.
Do we have an ongoing issue with Google Workspace like timing out?
Do we need to create google account with the google workspace email address?
Or what do we need to do in our side to further check the issue. We tried different browser and device to configure but same result.

As Emilie suggested, create a ticket with Sophos Mobile to see what they can do on their end and then share the ticket number with Emilie. She is able to escalate things on their end to make sure Sophos and google work together to fix this issue because its something in between both worlds. Same for the other ticket.
I've had good experiences with this procedure, Lizzie helped me with an urgent matter.
