Hello people, I'm trying to add new admins in our GZT environment, but looks like something is not working...Nothing really I can fail doing that, I'm an owner and the only fields I've to fill are email address and role, and I get the same error for both owners and admins.Are you maybe aware of anything broke on the back?thanks in advance

hello, I attempted to set up Android Enterprise using a Gmail account, but received a message saying, "This domain name has already been used." Could you please help me verify which Android Enterprise account is currently associated with our domain and advise on how I can proceed?

We have couple of users who have the Xiaomi Fold device and in the application report section of status report notifications we are only getting the android device policy app. None of the other applications are getting returned. Is this a known issue? How can we debug the issue? I was not able to see anything obvious in the device logs.We are getting the full application report for the other devices.

Hi all, Last weekend someone pointed out to me that Google has announced that it will only allow app installs from developers that are verified with Google. Hello everyone, I’m testing the setup (enrollment) of a Device Owner / Fully Managed Android device, and I’ve run into a question about restoring data. When setting up a personal Android device, you typically get the option to sign in with a Google account and restore apps/data from a backup. However, when I try this on my test device with the fully managed (Device Owner) enrollment flow, it goes straight into the MDM provisioning process. I don’t see the Google sign-in page or any option to restore data from my Google backup. My questions:Is this the expected behaviour for Device Owner (fully managed) setups?Are there any official guides or best practices for restoring user data in this scenario (if supported)?Thanks in advance for any guidance or documentation links!

As far as I know, Android TV does not yet support Enrollment. If this were possible, connected Chromecasts (with Android TV) and tons of Smart TVs would become awesome Digital Signage solutions over night.Can we get an update on this issue?PS. Would have liked to add "Android TV" and "Digital Signage" as labels to this post. But that is not possible...

Hi everyone we have some reports about OAuth2 Login issues on Android devices with Microsoft Conditional Access rules. Some device (very small amount) are not able to login to some specific apps where the OAuth Login is being made with an embedded Browser session. During investigation we found out, that all users are on Android System WebView version 139.0.7258.160.Users without issues are running 139.0.7258.158. We don't know whether this is the issue but I wanted you asked whether other admins here are having similar issues in the last couple of weeks. Are there any known issues about certificate based logins with Android System WebView currently? Thank you! Kind RegardsDaniel

Hello,  We are a reseller and recently we've been trying to add devices onto clients AZT. We've ran into an issue trying to add devices onto a new client. We tried to add the client to our portal, but the customer number we get doesn't match theirs. We've had this happen before with a previous client, but we resolved it by having them add us on their portal. Worked just fine. I got on a call and guided the customer to add us. Found us easily and was able to add us. I found them on our portal and I uploaded the CSV file. 2 of the 12 devices added. The other 10 did not. I then tried to add them individually. No issue. It seems to not be able to add them in bulk. I'm not sure how to resolve this issue. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? We plan to add more devices in the future and doing it one by one is going to take a long time.

I’m building a parental control app that relies on Device Owner mode. This worked fine on older devices (e.g. Samsung Galaxy S8 running Android 8/9), but it fails on a Pixel 10 Pro running Android 16.Process:I factory reset the Pixel.At the welcome screen, I scan a QR provisioning code.The QR downloads my signed APK, installs it, and should activate it as the Device Owner.Problem:On Android 16, the app is installed but Device Owner is not activated.In Settings > Device Admin, my app is listed, but the toggle is off.My MyDeviceAdminReceiver never fires — I see no provisioning broadcast (PROVISIONING_COMPLETE or PROVISIONING_SUCCESSFUL) and no debug logs.Here is my provisioning json as a starter - juyst in case I am doing something stupid!!{ "android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_MODE": "device_owner", "android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_DEVICE_ADMIN_COMPONENT_NAME"

Hello, we have a question to EFRP:If you specify a google account which can unlock FRP on this device in the future, does this google account have any other special permissions on that device or is it just like any other google account if logged in? Our Security Office wants to know that to be sure there is no other security concerns with configuring central EFRP accounts. Hi, since recently it is now possible to migrate EMM (in my case Intune) from a corporate gmail account to a managed google workspace account. By using this guide. https://support.google.com/work/android/answer/16147675?hl=en#zippy=%2Cmanaged-google-play-iframe-initiated-upgrade I would please like a clarification that is not covered by the article. Will Private Play apps migrate to the workspace account seamlessly?Currently we use Google Play Console ro gather logs, crash reports etc for our apps. Will this be possible after the migration?I also feel those clarifications (especially the first) should be clearly mentioned in the article. Thank you.

Hi experts,  I'm pretty new to managing Android devices using MDM solution and I went to the issue that need advises.I have a Samsung Android for testing & evaluating the MDM solutions. I was testing on Intune & Google MDM. Here are step by step I have done to lead to this issue.  I enrolled it to Intune by using the QR code successfully and finished the first test, then I wiped it fully I added it to corporate-owned device under Google MDM by using csv with serial numberEnrolled it to Google MDM and finished the test with MDM. Then, I removed this device from corporate device, deleted it from devices tab from Google MDM and fully wiped (factory reset) this deviceI scanned the QR code again (the same one I scanned in step 1) but failedAfter few screens, like connect wifi, this device belongs to org, etc... it ended up with 'Something went wrong, please contact t

We have reports of devices no longer being able to enroll.Our policy has a FORCE_INSTALL of Android Webview (com.google.android.webview), with a minimum version set to 593815300. Reproduced here with an Acer ACTAB10KB24. If I remove the minimum version requirement, I can enroll the device, and also update the webview to 139.0.7258.158. Why isn't the configuration with minimumVersionCode set working? We have previously enrolled many of these, but from our logs the latest successful enrollment was on the 16th of August (2025).

How to install whatsapp business in android enterprises?

I had upgraded my account to Google workspace Business Plus and wish to use the Android Enterprise function within Google platform. I had followed the steps and set to Advance mode in the mobile management "Custom" setting but the Android Enterprise did not appear for selection. Do i need a third party EEM or can i activate the Android Enterprise with Google Admin console without a third party one.

We are enterprise solution EMM partner. We want to validate the following feature 3.24. Managed Google Play Account upgradeAnyone please describe how to do this actually. Not understand way of integration in our solution.Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone, I'm turning to the community to see if there are any solutions being used out in the wild that assist with bulk wiping Android devices.  I suspect that what I'm asking may not be possible - mainly due to the nature of Android Developer Options, USB Debugging etc. - but I've been I've been tasked by our management to investigate and possibly propose a solution. As an example, we currently use several Cambrionix ThunderSync3 16 port devices to DFU both iOS and macOS devices but they don't offer a similar solution for Android.  Are there any solutions that can be used either in tandem with docking stations like Cambrionix or some other.  Our use case is Work Managed and we use Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM to manage the devices. The devices themselves are Pixels and Samsungs. and each device is loaded into either the Google Zero Touch Portal or the Samsung Knox Portal.

We manage our mobile device through Intune; we also manage multiple tenants. I didn't know when I did this, but I made the mistake of signing into a new tenant with our Managed Google Play account that we use for our main tenant. Still, unaware of my error, I decided to disconnect the Managed Google Play account from the new tenant and create a new Google Play account for them.The new tenant works fine. I'm able to enroll Android devices and manage apps. However, in our main tenant, under Tenant Administration | Tenant Status for Managed Google Play, it shows a warning: Management Service Error. If I try to go to Android Apps to add an app, I get the following message: "It looks like your tenant has been unbound via the Google Play console. To browse Managed Google Play, your Intune account needs to be connected to your Android Enterprise account." Hello, I was searching for a precise info, but i cant find any official info, and unofficial sources are not precise, to say the least. How many devices can I upload to ZTP from resseller portal using a single .csv file? I have found that limitations are 30, 50, 60 devices per one file, or that the limitation is the size of the file- 50mb. The problem is, probably i will need to add tens of thousands of devices, and maximum 50 devices per one .csv is a big limitation in that case. Or is there any other way to add very large quantities of devices?
