Is there a way to skip the "setup using another device" wizard screen?  We don't see the benefit of showing up this option, on company environment, having MDM managed devices with Zero touch enrollment setup. That screen is specifically, the 3rd screen, when setting up a new device, after selecting the language and the insert SIM card instrucctions screens. As those screens are right before the Network setup screen the device won't be able to connect with Google services to get MDM server and the custom profile, so not sure how to disable it? Thanks

My team uses AMA API to managed devices. As part creation of enrollment token we push some applications and managed configuration to those applications as part of the policy. But we are noticing that this is not very reliable. We have many user stories where the app gets installed but the managed configuration is missing. This doesn't happen on all devices but the occurrence of this has been increasing. Is there any known issue or SLA on how long it takes for the managed configuration to be pushed? We have an Application that is set as Required for Setupin the policy. This Application has managed configuration setup, which is required for App registration. This is missing by the time app launches and app registration fails and consequently the work profile provisioning fails.

Hi! We had problems with a few devices after enrollment today. The Managed Play Store did not work properly. Restarting and waiting seems to help. SymptomsEmpty collection in Managed Google PlaySpaceship error, because supposedly no apps were made availableInstallation commands from the UEM did not work in some casesApps assigned in UEM cannot be found in PlayI was only able to reproduce the problem in one of 3 attempts. A few automatic app installations worked for me. However, it was not possible to search for the apps manually. Restarting the device and then waiting a while seems to help. However, a colleague had a strange error in Managed Google Play after a restart when he tried to install an app manually."The item you want to buy could not be found."However, it is not a purchased app or an app with in-app purchases.  Is anyone else currently having problems with Managed Google Play? 

My team uses Android Management API to manage our enterprise's devices. Our management policy includes managed configurations for our Kiosk application, in order to correctly enroll our devices into our services. If this is not done, device provisioning fails. Over the past few months (first report we received was on January 13th), we have observed that certain devices are failing to receive the managed configurations, and thus fail to go through the process correctly. They fail to receive configurations on a policy change as well, which affects our existing devices. Before, removing the devices from our policies and enrolling again would succeed in sending the managed configurations to the affected devices. However, this issue is now persisting across attempts and happening more frequently. We have devices affected on both Android 13 and 14.

We recently disconnected our Managed Google Play account from Intune, which was initially set up with a standard Google Account. Now, we are reconnecting Intune to our Managed Google Play account using a Managed Google account that is synchronized with our Entra ID SSO. This means we can sign in with our company domain (@mycompany.com) using our Entra ID password. We are able to enroll our Android phones into Android Enterprise and publish apps to our Managed Google Play store without issues. To ensure redundancy, Google highly recommends creating a secondary owner account in case the primary account is compromised. However, my Play Store account admin screen appears quite limited compared to what I should be seeing. The customer reported an issue to us: on the personal part of his phones, business contacts are no longer displayed across his entire fleet when users receive SMS from business and personal contacts (only numbers appear, without contact names).By default, Samsung phones use the rich Google Messages application, as well as Textra, which are both impacted. This issue does not occur with Samsung's SMS application. We have tested on our side (Orange), and business contacts and numbers are displayed on the personal part. We have also tested with the customer, but it works randomly.Please take the necessary action.

Hi,I am currently using android phone(galaxy note 8, android 9) to enroll company portal. Before 01/2025, my company was Western Digital, and I could use company portal including bunch of android apps such as outlook. However, my company was separated to Sandisk, and I cannot use company portal after that. Is there any opinion why my phone cannot install company portal?When I try to use Microsoft intune, it always stops at the last stage of setting work profile. It says the device setting should be changed except the information; which device setting I should change to be fit for the company portal. Please give me any advice to make me available to use company portal.Or did android stopped supporting google enterprise old phones just like mine?

Hi,Few of our work profile customers are facing issue accessing work profile notifications on their smart watches. This used to work before and it stopped working few weeks back. We have not done any changes to the Android Management API policies and are not sure what is causing this. Is there a specific policy setting applicable for this that we need to enable? I am considering the introduction of Android Enterprise in my company and am testing the distribution of configuration policies from Intune. The enrollment profile is set to COBO (Android Enterprise corporate owned fully managed). I do not want users to log in with their personal Google accounts, so I want them to log in to apps like Google Meet with the Google Workspace account managed by the company. However, when I set the "Restrict personal accounts" policy in Intune to block, no Google accounts can be added at all. Conversely, if I disable this setting, both personal and Google Workspace accounts can be logged in. Does anyone know a solution to this?

Hi.I have tried to set up a zero-touch account, but when I log in at https://enterprise.google.com/android/zero-touch/customers, I get an error message like "Error 403. The account xxx@yyyy.zz is not authorized to see this page. Contact your administrator for access, or use another account."How can I get help with this issue? Hello I currently have one client with 1000+ devices. Sometimes, there is need to deregister sopme devices (for example when they are send to repair). Is there any faster way to mass deregister devices from ZTP than searching them one by one? I mean, sometimes it is 50, or even 100. Do I have to search each device individually one by one, or is there any automated option to do it?

Dear all,Since three weeks ago we noticed issue to deploy basic Configuration profiles (WiFi) into devices (MDM is Intune). Problem ONLY occurs with newly enrolled COPE devices running on Android 15. So we think it's Android 15 (Google) issue on COPE enrolled devices because all the other scenarios working fine:BYOD enrolled devices get WiFi profiles successfully deployed to device (Android 14/15)COPE enrolled devices get WiFi profiles successfully deployed to device (Android 14)COPE enrolled devices do NOT get WiFi profiles successfully deployed to device (Android 15)Anyone else noticed the same/similar issue with Configuration profiles with Android 15 clients? Best RegardsJarmo

Hello, I have a client who would like to deploy applications while hiding them directly from the Google Play Store. The customer is on the EMM solution "Ivanti Neurons for MDM (formerly MobileIron Cloud)Ivanti has made an option available to hide applications but this only allows applications to be hidden on Ivanti's own application store (and not on the Google Play Store). Do you know if there is an option outside of the EMM console (e.g. via play.google.com/work) to deploy an app to a user but while hiding it on the client's private Google Play Store ?

Hello, I am utilizing the QR provisioning method to install an APK that utilizes the DeviceAdminReceive subclass. I was able to get it working on Android 10 tablets, but now I am running into the "Can't set up device \n Contact your IT admin for help" issue for Android 13 tablets. Background:We are looking for options to configure a standard google account for 'find my device' option on Corporate Android devices from EMM. This way we can sign-in to one account, see all associated devices & send track/remote lock commands to the device from a single place. Question:1) Does Google provide EMMs with options to let admins configure enterprise google account for 'Find my device' on Corporate Android devices?2) If yes to (1) , can Admins use the same google account configured for Android Enterprise binding to also configure 'Find my device'?

There's a bug in the following sections which blocks ending the activity:Android Enterprise Expert > Android Enterprise Support Engineer Policy Troubleshooting > New application requirement > Bug ReportThe issue is the correct option "DUMP of Service Policy" acts like "DUMP of Service account" which makes all the three answsers wrong so the activity can't be finished. So you can't proceed with the activities and you can't sign up for the certification!!This is very stupid as either you should make sure that all the options work correctly, or don't block the rest of activities in case of unfinished questions! Hi everyone,I did see in previous posts, that we had a problem with missing apps a year ago. (https://www.androidenterprise.community/t5/general-discussions/fixed-service-announcement-available-work-apps-missing-in/td-p/811) Since yesterday we have a problem, that all optional apps are not visibile in the managed Play store. Our users see only the required apps but not the optional apps or webclips.This happens only for users enrolling a new device. Over the past month, we’ve noticed a significant increase in the review times for our apps that are permanently private under Managed Google Play. Previously, review times for both closed tracks and production were almost instantaneous. However, we’re now seeing delays ranging from 20 minutes to over an hour. Has anyone else experienced similar issues? Is there any known way to revert to the shorter review times we had before? It’s possible that this change coincides with our recent verification of developer accounts to meet the new requirements, but we’re unsure if that’s related.

Hello, We have a custom mobile device management solution that we built to manage android tablets that get sent out to patients with our private application pre-installed. Currently we disable the notifications drawer so that they cannot access settings, and see all of the spam SMS notifications that the tablets get via the default messages application. Is there a way to alter the notifications settings for the default messages app so that it can't display notifications, or some way we can clear them out?
