Hello, I was looking into options for internal use on how to manage enterprise devices and the documentation seems to point to the android management API. What was not very clear to me:Is there any pricing model documented for using the API ? As mentioned, it would be for internal useDoes this require to be registered as an EMM provider, even if it would be used internallyAppreciate any inputs, thanks!

Hello I currently have one client with 1000+ devices. Sometimes, there is need to deregister sopme devices (for example when they are send to repair). Is there any faster way to mass deregister devices from ZTP than searching them one by one? I mean, sometimes it is 50, or even 100. Do I have to search each device individually one by one, or is there any automated option to do it?

Dear all,Since three weeks ago we noticed issue to deploy basic Configuration profiles (WiFi) into devices (MDM is Intune). Problem ONLY occurs with newly enrolled COPE devices running on Android 15. So we think it's Android 15 (Google) issue on COPE enrolled devices because all the other scenarios working fine:BYOD enrolled devices get WiFi profiles successfully deployed to device (Android 14/15)COPE enrolled devices get WiFi profiles successfully deployed to device (Android 14)COPE enrolled devices do NOT get WiFi profiles successfully deployed to device (Android 15)Anyone else noticed the same/similar issue with Configuration profiles with Android 15 clients? Best RegardsJarmo

Hello, I have a client who would like to deploy applications while hiding them directly from the Google Play Store. The customer is on the EMM solution "Ivanti Neurons for MDM (formerly MobileIron Cloud)Ivanti has made an option available to hide applications but this only allows applications to be hidden on Ivanti's own application store (and not on the Google Play Store). Do you know if there is an option outside of the EMM console (e.g. via play.google.com/work) to deploy an app to a user but while hiding it on the client's private Google Play Store ?

Does anyone know of any Android phones or tablets that have a magnetic stripe card reader built into it?

Hello, I am utilizing the QR provisioning method to install an APK that utilizes the DeviceAdminReceive subclass. I was able to get it working on Android 10 tablets, but now I am running into the "Can't set up device \n Contact your IT admin for help" issue for Android 13 tablets. I am using the same payload for both Android versions. My current payload looks something like this:{"android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_DEVICE_ADMIN_COMPONENT_NAME": "com.example/.DeviceAdminReceiver", "android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_DEVICE_ADMIN_PACKAGE_CHECKSUM": "<checksum>", "android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_DEVICE_ADMIN_PACKAGE_DOWNLOAD_LOCATION": "<s3-bucket-url>", "android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_SKIP_ENCRYPTION": false,"android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_WIFI_SSID": "<ssid>","android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_WIFI_PASSWORD": "<password>", "android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_WIFI_SECURITY_TYPE": "WPA" }I have looked through this forum and have attempted to add the additional fields below (t

Background:We are looking for options to configure a standard google account for 'find my device' option on Corporate Android devices from EMM. This way we can sign-in to one account, see all associated devices & send track/remote lock commands to the device from a single place. Question:1) Does Google provide EMMs with options to let admins configure enterprise google account for 'Find my device' on Corporate Android devices?2) If yes to (1) , can Admins use the same google account configured for Android Enterprise binding to also configure 'Find my device'?

Hey everyone,Google removed the option to distribute paid apps some time ago.We loved that feature to roll out paid apps like ZoiPer Pro and many more. Are there any plans to get this awesome feature back? I already asked about it at the Android Enterprise Global Partner Summit 2022:Do you have any updates for us?

There's a bug in the following sections which blocks ending the activity:Android Enterprise Expert > Android Enterprise Support Engineer Policy Troubleshooting > New application requirement > Bug ReportThe issue is the correct option "DUMP of Service Policy" acts like "DUMP of Service account" which makes all the three answsers wrong so the activity can't be finished. So you can't proceed with the activities and you can't sign up for the certification!!This is very stupid as either you should make sure that all the options work correctly, or don't block the rest of activities in case of unfinished questions! Now I'm blocked indefinitely!

Hello Community, i have a quick question. Our company just adjusted there Company name and we have to adjust our current customer details ("Customer Name") in the Zero-Touch Portal. How/or is it possible to edit this? Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone,I did see in previous posts, that we had a problem with missing apps a year ago. (https://www.androidenterprise.community/t5/general-discussions/fixed-service-announcement-available-work-apps-missing-in/td-p/811) Since yesterday we have a problem, that all optional apps are not visibile in the managed Play store. Our users see only the required apps but not the optional apps or webclips. This happens only for users enrolling a new device. Existing users does not have the problem "yet".Is there anybody else seeing this problem. We use Ivanti EPMM.Kind regardsMelkon

Over the past month, we’ve noticed a significant increase in the review times for our apps that are permanently private under Managed Google Play. Previously, review times for both closed tracks and production were almost instantaneous. However, we’re now seeing delays ranging from 20 minutes to over an hour. Has anyone else experienced similar issues? Is there any known way to revert to the shorter review times we had before? It’s possible that this change coincides with our recent verification of developer accounts to meet the new requirements, but we’re unsure if that’s related.

Hello, We have a custom mobile device management solution that we built to manage android tablets that get sent out to patients with our private application pre-installed. Currently we disable the notifications drawer so that they cannot access settings, and see all of the spam SMS notifications that the tablets get via the default messages application. Is there a way to alter the notifications settings for the default messages app so that it can't display notifications, or some way we can clear them out?

Hello,We have previously added several dozen of the customer's devices to the ZTP using their IMEI numbers. Is it possible to remove these devices from the system using their serial numbers? Or do i need to use IMEI numbers?

I'm new to Zero-Touch technology, and I'm experiencing an issue where a device completes enrollment using a QR code, but within two hours, it automatically resets after receiving a notification.I don't have much experience with Zero-Touch, so I'm unsure how to fully manage and complete the enrollment process. Is there another method to ensure that the device is fully managed after enrollment, or any best practices to avoid this reset issue?Any guidance or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I have logged in today to the Google Zero Touch portal and it looks like all configurations, devices and resellers are gone now. This needs to be fixed asap as we are standing close to a mass rollout for which the ZTP was set up and connected to our MDM solution

Hello everyone!  I am running into an issue, I need to update the Android versions in my device fleet, currently we work with Android 11, 12 and 13, and would like to upgrade all devices to Android 14. Due to our use case, our devices (SM-T225) only utilize SIM data, and we require this update to roll out without user interaction.  Our current EMM offers the options:* automatic system updates* windowed system updates* postpone installation* disable installation However, all options cause the user to be shown a pop-up for the download of the system update, after which it succesfully installs automatically. Is there any way to automatically install system updates with mobile data without user input (Just as if devices were connected to WiFi) Thank you for your help,Juan

Hi! We have an ongoing problem with adding apps to our company collection in managed google play. We can add a private app or create a web-app and it works perfectly fine. We can assign the app through Intune so our end users are able to use it. However, we've had an ongoing problem for over 6 months now where we cannot find the app when trying to add it to our collection. We can search for apps but they do not appear when we search, thus making us unable to add it to the collection which in turn makes it so our users cannot find the app directly in the managed play store and has to search for it themselves. The issue happens with both private and web-apps and we've noticed that sometimes the app is searchable and we are able to add it to our collection after a varying time period. We've had apps that appears in a search after a few weeks, a few months and some haven't showed up at all since this problem started. I can't say for sure when it happened but it's been more than 6

Hello, I'm trying to follow the instructions to the letter for publishing an application in our MDM (Intune) whose APK is hosted outside the Google Play Store. However, in the steps, it's mentioned that you have to Opt out of app signing by Google Play. This no longer seems possible. So I continued the process, but when it came time to import the .json file. It informs me that: Your APK file exceeds the maximum upload size (100 MB). Switch to the Android App Bundle format or upload a smaller APK file. You have uploaded an invalid archive ZIP file. The APK file is hosted externally, so it cannot be signed by Play. The AndroidManifest.xml file in the Android application collection or in the uploaded APK file could not be analyzed. Has it been compiled correctly? The name “dji.go.v4” already exists in Google Play. Please use another package name. Am I at a dead end? Hello, we have problem with notifications on from workprofile on smartwatches. It works 1month ago but from Sept. we don't receive any notifications from Outlook, MS Teams, etc.Somebody knows what happens? Thanks!

My requirement is to add a string pattern in urlblocklist and the result is to block the entire URL that contains this pattern. Is it possible through AMAPI managed configuration of chrome? I appreciate any help you can provide.

Hello all, I am new to the forum so hopefully I posted in the right location. I have a question about Samsung devices (ex. A22, A53, etc.) in a business scenario of a healthcare provider. When a new (COPE) device gets ordered the devices comes preinstalled with an Android version, the device goes in stock and a few months later an user needs a new one. We would like to preinstall periodically the latest version so that the rollout/handoff of the new device takes less time. Current scenario is that the user comes, we take a phone out of our stock, during the OOBE setup you first have to login with a Google or Samsung account before updates get installed. The installation of updates sometimes takes over an hour during this time the user has to wait, or they have to come back. We also have lots of iPhones and we update them with a MacBook. We are looking for a simular solution but I cannot think of one, so I thought lets ask others. Maybe someone has a brilliant idea.

I have successfully binded the managed play store accoount to Intune. After an initial enrollment of a first Samsung Android smartphone (as personally owned device with work folder) to Intune, the Intune app list already shows four Microsoft apps  (Home Screen, Authenticator, Intune, Company Portal) as assignable apps. I don't know if this behaviour could be considered as normal, because at this early time I have not yet selected them in the managed play store to be synced to Intune app list. Another curiosity is that none of these apps could be deleted from the Intune app list (delete button is greyed). If I then continue to select some first apps in the managed play store to be synced to the Intune app list, nothing happens after launching the sync process. None of the selected apps will be synced to the Intune app list.Of course these selected apps also do not appear in the company portal app management. What can I do to get this failure fixed ?Actually this means that I can
