In the new Zero Touche portal, I'd like to add a new account. I can enter the email address and the role, but then I get the following error:An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again laterHave other people experienced this problem? What can I do? 

We have previously done more MAM and are moving to allow users on Android to setup the work profile.  In testing on Pixel 8 running Android 14 QPR we are seeing significant battery drain from the company portal app.  Like so bad that it’s making the devices lag and hot and killing the battery. did we miss something in the config @jasonbayton maybe you have some insights?

Hi all,after registering company for Android Enterprise, to use with our EEM Solution from Sophos we added 10 users (send invitation and confirm/register process). Trying to add the 11th user we get the error: The organization that invited you has no other licenses to add users. Contact your administrator.(translated from german)How/where can we get additional licenses? Thought for Android Enterprise we don't need to buy licenses...of course we have the licenses for the EMM solution from Sophos (Sophos Mobile).Any help appreciated.Thanks, Lutz  

Hi, Apologies for putting this as a generic query. I'm trying to find some answers to below questions regarding the working of GOTA solution. 1) Is GOTA a SaaS solution provided by google where authorized device resellers can create accounts and add customer devices for managing OTA updates?2) Do each reseller (Eg- HMD, Samsung etc.) maintain separate tenant in GOTA or it is just a separate account within one tenant?3) If an organization is already using GOTA services through one reseller (Eg- Samsung), what is the process for setting up GOTA services with a different reseller (HMD)? Once signed-up will the customer devices be maintained in two separate tenants/accounts within GOTA?4) Is there a default behavior for OTA update release on GOTA devices? Will they be blocked from receiving any updates until customer approval or will they receive all updates by default until customer asks the reseller to block a particular update? 

I am wondering some of customer facing devices reset automatically? Is there any reason behind this? From our customer, we got the following information about this issue.Case one is that the device got shut down due to the charge being finished. after starting the device they found that the device was reseted.Case two is that the device was shut down for one or two months. after starting the device they found that the device was reseted. Thank you so much for your attention and participation in advance.

Dear Community Members, We are currently encountering an issue with the enrollment of three recently acquired Samsung S23 devices. While we are able to successfully enroll other devices, these specific models are presenting a persistent problem. The error message displayed is as follows: "Zero-Touch Registration is not available. Check your internet connection and try again." To address this, we have attempted the following troubleshooting steps:Utilized mobile data from various carriers as well as Wi-Fi connections, yet the error persists.Formatted the devices.Completely removed the devices from the Zero-Touch portal (https://partner.android.com/zerotouch#) and subsequently re-added them.Attempted manual enrollment using the QR Code provided by Intune.Despite these efforts, the issue remains unresolved. Hi, I am wondering how often a STATUS_REPORT PubSub message is sent for a device. Is it on a specific cadence? Random? When the device encounters a change (i.e. policy update)? I can't find anything in the PubSub docs (https://developers.google.com/android/management/notifications) although I could be missing something. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi all! I'm want to start testing the AMAPI via the testing options provided by Google. Just to test policies that are not yet embedded in mainstream EMM solutions.  I'm following this guide: Android Management API - Quickstart - Colab (google.com) as a starting point. All goes well until the step "provision a device". And cannot get a token or QR code visible.  When running the code in block 22, no token is returned.  I tried entering the policyname mannully but that returned a long error haha, so I'm assuming I just need to run the code and it will generate a token that I can use in block 23. Correct? If so, why is it not returning anything?  Hope someone is able to help, thanks! Michel

Hi, I had previously made a policy for a device and provisioned it. I made a second policy and tried to provision another device, but when I ran the code to generate the QR code it generates a link for me but when I click it, it says 404 Not Found - I did it through the Android Management API Quickstart notebook. What could cause this? All the previous code for executing the policies and generating the token worked fine with no errors.

Hello, is there a way to claim ownership of a device who's been probably registered manually with a number inversion? The device was sourced directly from the manufacturer and we do have all the paperwork. Or to identify contact the current erroneous company so we can ask them?

I need to manage android devices. There are several things that I need to do while managing them. I researched about it on the internet and came across Android Management API. But I am struggling with how to use this API? The documentation is too ambiguous.  I have enrolled my device by following Android Management API codelab but I don't know what to do further? How can I create policies, how to push them to device, how to download the Android Management API client. Please help me.

Hey, Is it possible to grant special permissions like `SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW` to a device if it is fully managed using Android management API? We tried adding it to the permissionGrants but it is not enforced for some reason. Thanks!

Hello we create in the past a gmail account for the configuration of the Zero Touch portal. Now we need to update this gmail account to a federated gmail account (from our workspace). Some enrolled devices are already uploaded to zerotouch profiles and devices are alreday assigned to zertouch profiles. Is it possible to edit and change the google account used for the zerotouch portal?KR WilliamV

Hi,I have my google account linked to an EMM registration.  I now no longer have access to that EMM system and want to set up my google account to a new EMM system.  Unable to do this due to the above. Do not want to create a brand new google account.I guess only Google Support can assist here but how does one (without a support contract) get in touch with them and get them to disassociate my account from an old EMM system that I no longer have access to.Thank you all!

I've made an app I need a list of email addresses for internal and closed app testers to help me test my app for publishing from my google play console?

Application device policy is set Automatic update but did not instal the system update automatically. Seems like that system update is downloading but not processing for the installation. Need help and/or feedback. We are looking at rolling out several hundred android devices for ordering purposes over the next year and I am running into an issue getting these devices registered. Running into the issue where it tells me "MAXIMUM NUMBER OF DEVICES ALLOWED TO ENROLL INTO THIS ANDROID ENTERPRISE USER ACCOUNT HAS BEEN REACHED". after look into this I've noticed that the USER ACCOUNT has a limit of 10 devices. Is there another way to add more devices or will I need to create more user accounts?

I'm trying to add a new app to our environment as google play managed app. Adding the app itself to the Intune app list works as expected, but the problem arises when I'm trying to add that app to our google play collection (from the left menu in google play -> organise apps). Normally I look up the app in the search field and select it, then save the changes in the collection. It seems like today the search field is not working, no return comes up. Doesn't matter what I fill in, the field doesn't find anything, and there's no feedback either if I press enter or if I click on the magnifying glass icon.What could I check?
